My plan if dems win and implement their socialist agenda

While I currently own a home in Nashville, I inherited the home where I grew up in AL. Nothing fancy, but a paid off, well built & maintained 1970s rancher (~2000 sf) with an 1100 sf detached shop. It’s also in a ‘good’ neighborhood & school zone. Definitely not a place you wouldn’t want to live.
My wife and I would likely sell our home, stick money in the bank, and move our family there. Then we’d coast to retirement since we wouldn’t have to worry about college savings, health insurance, and would have a universal basic income. We could probably do pretty well with just a couple of mindless service jobs...especially if they paid $15/hr.
This is the insanity of their agenda.
A working family who pays around $50K/yr in fed tax would be just as well off knocking their careers out of gear and coasting to the finish line...especially if they own their home.
Do they think people in a similar situation will be motivated enough to maintain their maker status instead of becoming takers?
If this stuff happens, you’ll see me out on the lake catching crappie.

I mean, it would put the debt boot on my kids’ necks even tighter. But I could fish or hunt every day.

If Dems win? I'm quitting my job and going to college, for free. My house is paid off and my two sons are grown. My wife loves her job so she will likely stay working. I'll draw my pension a year later at 55. My healthcare will be free. I'll let my 401K make what little it can in the safest of investments because we know the stock market will tank. Then at 62 hit the Social Security and draw on the 401K. I'm good. I feel sorry for all you young people that never knew a good America.

I am with you on this idea. My house is paused for but we own on the cars . But by the time democrats would be able to implement their plans I would be dept free. So the wife and I would just take turns working one of theses $15 an hour free jobs from the government. I could spent more time fishing and hunting when the kids are in school. After 2 years when the pay on the real jobs Has adjusted its self to the twice what it was before then we could both go back to work . All these people who live paycheck to paycheck or are retired will vote republican the next election and there would be a massive red wave .

Sounds like a decent plan.
One thing I would do if the socialist democrats implement their agenda is to remind people that rebellion is honor in the face of tyranny.

You face a real conundrum.
As a whole we can support everyone.
One you arrange the tax and spending to pay off the debt you can do a lot.
Right now things are stacked for capitalism.
The capitalist system fails because the world trade org is about profit not people and not the sustainability of Earth for humans to live. It's now considered reasonable to just leave Earth for a better planet. This one is doomed by greed.
As a whole we can support everyone.
One you arrange the tax and spending to pay off the debt you can do a lot.
