FTR the only Union I know of in this state is in Little Rock. The only walkout I ever supported was the one in Oklahoma once I heard what the true facts were.

Fallen behind how? Versus other countries is a bit of a misnomer, look at who is being tested. If you look at our top 10% vs theirs we still lead. The same can be said of all the percentiles. They just quit testing lower kids.

After they have been retired a designated amount of time they can re-enter the work force for any job they choose, just like anyone else. Are you against other professions retiring and then finding work while drawing their retirement/using 401K's?

Pension and 401k are vastly different. 401ks are not a guaranteed sum annually for life.

However my school only matches contributions toward Arkansas teacher retirement and in times of high growth I don't get bonuses. Not complaining but there are ups and downs, we hit hyperinflation and I'm screwed if the only thing I counted on was my pension.

That's not the situation being described.
Having kids wear masks all day is stupid, FTR. Playing on the playground, playing sports in PE, etc... and then returning to class with same masks. Snotty kids wearing the same mask all day. Etc etc. There is no logical reason to wear them when the rooms have been set up to accommodate spacing anyway, and also there's the whole science behind making kids wear masks is pointless, but who cares about that?
