What aisle at WalMart did you get your degree on?
You're dumber than the eraser you speak of.

quote:Ya know, in the area of Georgia I'm from there are a boatload of "private schools" that sprung up in the 60s and early 70s so the white families that could afford it (or were willing to kiss enough rich white arse to get them to pay for it) could avoid sending their young'uns to the disastrous effects of sudden total integration of the pubic schools in the South. In retrospect, you really couldn't blame them because all real education came to a screeching halt in the public schools. However, a friend of mine who went to one of the new private schools told me that all the rich white libs and their hangers-on step and fetch its sent their kids there, and ironically, were just orgasmic with joy that those "poor colored folks" were finally able to take their place in society beside, and not behind "us whites." In other words, racial equality for you and yours, but not for me and mine." Is this you?
My kids are in private schools to avoid as much bs as possible. Tell me about my commie leanings.

As a teacher, what is the teacher supposed to do? Not enforce that rule? Or let all 1,000 kids not wear a mask? Only let your kid get away with breaking the rule?
The teacher is just following the rule. Go to a school board meeting and protest. Go meet with the principal to protest. Enroll in a more "free" private school or homeschool co-op. You are frustrated with the wrong person, imo.

So, teachers are mindless zombies? Unless they want to bash Trump, then they can say and do what they want in violation of the rules? Right?
Spare me the "teachers are just obeying orders BS".
Nazis tried the same excuse after they got busted. There are numerous ways to enforce and motivate children to do what they want them to do. Teachers should know this.

I've been a public school teacher for 17 years. Want to have a conversation?
I currently teach AP Bio and Physics. I have a BS in Biology, minor in Chem and MSE in Gifted Education. I've been an ESL coordinator in a highly urban district with extensive history of meeting with the Mexican consulate in my area on how to we could help each other get the best for my students.
I also voted Trump, want a wall, teach a sunday school class and help with kids on Wednesday nights. Lumping all people together has always been a bad idea. I know terrible teachers and great ones. I can also say that about any profession you choose.

Cool, he's almost caught up to my son then. You want a good education for your child, work with them. Have expectations and actively fill in holes where you find them.

That is what I am you fool. I am in a Title I school that also teaches SPED. I do not care if you want to publicly make a fool of yourself by spewing venom, but at least try to be informed.
Reading comprehension must be hard for you.
Now lets talk...like I have been trying to do with you.

Wow, times have changed. If I got the 'good behavior of the year award' my arse would have been kicked during the next recess.

Great. Sure, there are exceptions to the rule, but even here in Texas, teachers vote overwhelmingly liberal Democrat. Public schooling is a cesspool of politics. And our national ranking proves it.

He's done well with his private school teachers. They actually teach music and foreign languages from an earlier age than I could get in public school. I read to him every night until he hit the age of 5, then made him start reading to me.
He's bright. Bright students have a way of being bright, even when their teachers are liberal cucks.
I spend plenty of time every night, as a single parent, doing homework with him. I'm a math geek, so I show him different ways of understanding math that his teachers don't teach. And his teachers are fine teachers that make, on average, less than the public school teachers here. It's not great for them, but they do it anyway.
They're not union, and it's a Christian school, so he's not being taught that white people are evil. He's being taught that ALL people are sinful and fall short. Which is something public school teachers could learn from.

He's almost 9. Has NEVER gotten a disciplinary note/call/infraction nothing. Makes good grades and recently got the award for integrity and honesty in his class.
That clear it up for you?

Again you are hung up on an opinion, which 3 public school teachers in this thread have told you is not true. You are a piece of work. I hope you really are not this much of a bigot in real life.
Also, you are also being a hypocrite in this thread.

National figures don't lie. We've fallen behind in math and science for almost 3 decades now, thanks to public school teachers, their incompetent unions, their lawyers, and their criminally corrupt bureaucracy. School superintendent retires from his job, gets his pension and goes to another district and continues working, doubling his pay and his cost to taxpayers. Just a simple example of the douchebaggery of public indoctrination.
Sorry, 3 anecdotal incidents don't make a fact. Fact says that public schools are failing, and apparently they're too hung up over proper mask protocol instead of teaching kids their fricking multiplication tables.

Dragging the teacher into a meeting with her boss and presenting a picture of her not properly wearing her mask would make the Karen in her crawl back under her desk.
They run for the school board come next election.

Ok I will give you that I hated dealing with the Union when I was at union school. Loved the benefits but hated that "teacher rights" came before quality teaching.
As far as liberal cesspools, I would bet that you find that in much higher concentration in urban vs rural environments. Same can be said for the people.
Speaking for my school the chemistry teacher next door is also an associate pastor and part time duck guide.
The calculus teacher across the hall is a deacon in his church. I can go on and on. We treat our kids the same no matter the race and even host weekly bible study during lunch.

Again you are trying to brush 3 specific professionals based off a set of teachers in a random poll and union workers. So why are you being so bigoted toward the 3 that have responded to you? Instead of spouting of stats that you think are correct, why do you not try to have a conversation with any otf the 3 and decide what they are doing is not what you expect a teacher to be...
But no instead, you want to act like a fool, make baseless arguments, and discuss topics that is not relevant to the conversation.

Are they teachers' union members? One might be tempted to ask them. And if so, why they support shite standards.
