Yeah, you're that parent huh. Well sweetie if you don't like it I happily encourage you to change schools. I'll even get you the paperwork. If your to stupid to understand how to properly wear a mask I don't really want your kid in my class anyway.
And we could do better than you, too.

As far as paying my salary I'm not sure I could keep a straight face.
You pay your own salary?

Strictly looking at property taxes within the district I'm in the top 20% of payers. If looking at total including on the family farms it jumps from there.
Sounds like a rough district. So you pay your own salary, again?

Honestly looking at where the pure crap schools are located and it is almost without fail in larger urban areas, primarily inner cities. The failings in that area go way beyond just the schools. They are a symptom not a root cause.
Are you a member of the teachers' union? If so, you cucked and support Democrats, period.

Oh so it is teachers unions you’re against? Or is it all unions?
FTR the only Union I know of in this state is in Little Rock. The only walkout I ever supported was the one in Oklahoma once I heard what the true facts were.
All unions, but ESPECIALLY public worker unions, which have no employer per se to negotiate against. The taxpayers are rarely asked about raises, much less merit requirements or those sorts of things, even when the teachers strike.
Public unions should not be allowed - ever.

Fallen behind how? Versus other countries is a bit of a misnomer, look at who is being tested. If you look at our top 10% vs theirs we still lead. The same can be said of all the percentiles. They just quit testing lower kids.
If your goal is to be on par with China, you're on the right track. You'll need, of course, to stop lying to students telling them that they need a college degree, which they run up inordinate amount of debt to acquire only to find that it puts them on par with a typical Indian citizen with a college degree that cost 1/50th the price.

When isolating the 64 countries that administered the test in both 2015 and 2018, U.S. students ranked 30th in math, up from 35th in 2015, and eighth in reading, up from 15th in 2015. In science, U.S. students ranked 11th, up from 17th in 2015.
No reason not to be number 1. None.

basically. It's a slippery slope here. As a parent you should want to say respect and listen to your teacher, but at the same time frick that c unt.

There are better at what I do but not many, so maybe.

Nope, actually fought them multiple times and caught loads of crap for not joining when I was at a union school.
As I said earlier, they were more interested in teacher rights than being good teachers. I do miss the benefits though.

Of you had any self awareness you would not have attempted humor even after considering it.
If I had had ZERO self awareness (which is what you claimed), I would not even have considered not posting it.
Also, some part of my posting that was to bump the OP into posting what his child was doing that was judged to be "not wearing his/her mask properly" which was not in the OP.
And, by using the banana hammock example, it brought into the discussion the possibility some of the things that his child might have been doing with the mask could have made the "punishment" warranted.
Like I said. It went right over your head. As usual.

So again you are uneducated about claims you are making. Furthermore you know nothing of me so to state I’m scum because I teach is bigotry. You are a fool. I’m sorry I tried to engage in you in terms deemed appropriate for most adults. From now on I will treat you like I treat my RAD or Trauma Unspecified students
Bigotry is teaching critical race theory. Public schools that produce American voters that can't name the three branches of government or their functions is an embarrassment. I don't give a flying frick what you teach. Education in America is shite, and it is one of the major contributing factors to the existence of a slimeball dementia patient stealing the election and illegally occupying the White House now.
Fact. And teachers bear responsibility. Their unions could demand differently if they chose. And if you participate in the teachers' union, you're part of the problem. If you're more concerned with your guaranteed pensions and COVID masks and not with the kids' educations, you're part of the problem.
If that doesn't describe you, then you're an exception. When it's okay to teach that white people are evil and there are 57 genders, and that the people that gave you the freedom to even form the unions and bitch and whine as much as teachers do were racist, you're part of the problem.

Not sure what that means. It's not proper English.

I pay as large of a percentage of my salary as the average parent, probably more.
Had to take a call and forgot exactly where I was in my thought.
We could argue all night but I would rather go hang out with my kids right now. I know you wont believe it but most teachers outside the large urban areas aren't scum and have no interest in indoctrinating your kids.

So your uneducated and bigoted ways makes a statement like that
Sounds like you are the parent that calls everyday to complain that the bus was too late. Or are you the parent that claims to know someone at the television station to get an in depth expose done?
Now look I’ve been congenial but here goes, you and your kid need to grow up. The world owed you nothing. I’m sorry you don’t know how to raise a kid and claim you read to them until age 5. What did you read them? I’m guessing you read them the daily racing form to explain why they cried nightly for food
If you don’t like what teachers in Title I rural schools are doing (paying for every supply and clothes for kids) I suggest you man up and run for school board instead of trying to an internet harass that thinks cussing is cool
Either way you’re being laughed at by teachers on here and your sons parents
Go learn something about who you respond to before making allegations
Come teach a class in any Title I school or any SPED class and then I will take your idiotic and bigoted remarks under advisement
Until then. Get a life know some rules and stop acting like you’re a high functioning autistic child.

Wrong again. I've never once complained to my kid's school. So nope. Wrong here - typical of a entitled douche teachers' union pet.

We need to grow up? The world owes me nothing? That's rich coming from a group of people that think that taxpayers owe them a trip to the beach during COVID lockdowns, while failing to teach kids how to do basic math. Blame the parents all you want, those of us that care about their kids' educations have to teach the kids again when they get home because you can't do it.

Apparently you think graduating idiots is cool. Your decision, especially if you're a union member. Ignorance is the pride of public school systems that graduate Biden voters daily. Frick you.

Because teachers are apparently ill educated. I can't help that. YOU paid for your shite degree and hopped on union cock to ride it your 20 years until you can retire. Your failures are not my fault, expect for the fact that I didn't run for school board? You can't teach kids to multiply numbers? That's on you morons.
quote:
Go learn something about who you respond to before making allegations
Nothing provides as much of an education as watching test scores sink and teachers produce more and more brain dead "graduates" who not only have no critical thinking skills, but can't do enough basic math to make change for a fricking $20 at the grocery store.
Own it. US teachers and public schools suck. It's FACT.

Maybe you're just incompetent. I pay double what most parents pay to get my kid an education because union-tit-sucking bastards can't teach. Why you'd graduate anyone that can't even fricking add numbers is a mystery, except you're just punching a fricking clock.
But you do it anyway. And get paid, then whine when we, who pay your salaries, expect that the kids actually learn something, and don't.
Frick off.

Got more info, he was doing a project with two
other kids at a table, they couldn’t hear each other talk through the masks so they pulled them down. They were warned to fix them and got frustrated after a while and pulled them down again. Then the teacher wrote up all three.

Sooooo....
Kid was justifiably punished because he failed to listen to the teacher after being given one chance to comply. Sounds VERY reasonable to me.

For just a moment, set aside your personal disagreement with the specific school rule at issue. Imagine a DIFFERENT rule ... one with which you DO agree (e.g. no throwing erasers at other students during class).
How do you envision a school district being able to enforce that rule, if the District is precluded from inflicting any punishment for violations?
So you see all rules as exactly the same in all circumstances, Mr. Genius?
Some kid has an asthma attack or seizure, and you'd be running to discipline him for his mask coming off.
