We are all unvaccinated heathens. I work healthcare. He's asymptomatic. Wife bought a few home test kits. He had sniffles 2 days ago so she ran test last night & he was positive. To doc today to verify. Meanwhile work told me to stay home for 10 days paid. Guess I'll get on that yardwork & be hitting the shooting range assuming I don't catch the black plague, I mean Covid-19, I mean Chinavirus.

It makes total sense for you to lock down with a sick person

Why did you test? If he is asymptomatic with sniffles? Falling right into what they want

Better get on ivermectin and start soaking your thumb in iodine.

It's been nice knowing you. RIP.

Learned more about the process in Pennsylvania yesterday. Coworker had to leave early to pick his 7 or 8 yo son up from school early on Tuesday. On Wed he explained his son told teacher he had a headache in the morning and that his stomach hurt after lunch. Because he had 'two symptoms' they sent him home.
Now... the options are (1) boy goes to doctor and doctor can provide note testifying 'with 100% certainty' boy does not have Covid, (2) boy gets negative PCR (not rapid) test which can take up to 7 days for results, or (3) boy stays home for the next 14 days. He ended up getting PCR test but will be home until that comes back. It's just absurd- all of it

One of the most entertaining parts of the Covid has been people saying things like this. “I’m asymptomatic….except for these symptoms”

This story has been played out millions of times. This is how most of us experience the China flu.
Oh, and since you are in healthcare advise the doctors you work with to provided therapeutics and monoclonal antibodies to their patients if they test positive for COVID before sending them home. Early treatment with therapeutics and monoclonal antibodies is key. Furthermore, if you have any loved ones that get really sick and have to go to the hospital because of low O2 make sure they are not prescribed remdisiver. Remdisiver will likely shut down their kidneys and cause pulmonary edema. Not good.
This virus can be defeated if doctors were allowed to practice medicine for COVID like they are allowed to practice medicine for every other disease in the world. But for some reason regulatory authorities, medical boards and hospital administrators have banned doctors from practicing medicine for COVID.
Thus, from a public point of view not only do you have to potentially fight the COVID you have to fight the corrupt system too.

This is true. But you want to test and if positive you need to find a doctor that will go outside the recommended practices of the authorities. If you test positive all they do is send you home and use your positive test as propaganda. If all they are going to do is send you home without therapeutics and monoclonal antibodies then there is no reason to go to that doctor. None. It's a waste of time and money.
If you test positive and feel you are at risk of not being able to fight the virus without early treatment, you are better off trying to get the therapeutics outlined in the MATH protocol and traveling to a monoclonal antibody infusion site in Florida.
Most doctors hands are tied and are not allowed to administer early treatment for COVID.

What?
Give him the benefit of doubt. A lot of people categorize mild symptoms as asymptomatic. It's incorrect but it's done a lot.

You took your son to the doctor to verify? Why? Now what?

I get it, but it's not just incorrect, it's opposite in meaning

There's a .03% that you'll never start another thread...
