If you ever took any media/media relations/journalism classes you'd understand. By nature, they're very lazy people. After all, the career path they have chosen is to simply tell people what other people are doing - kind of like gossip.

A hair stylist could be a journalist but the journalist wouldn't have the hair styling skills.

lets shite on someone who figured out how to launch rockets into space and land the boosters for offering to help. after all what could he possibly have to offer that is relevant?

Same idea is attacking the guy who landed the probe on the asteroid for a “sexist” shirt.

A (likely) straight white male who did something never done before gets shite on by people who are angry it wasn’t some affirmative action case doing so instead.
