What's the deal here. I read the story on the Advocate, said he was about to be called before a grand jury to discuss an interview he gave a few years ago regarding a potential rape situation... but that he himself wasn't a target.

He might have been, I don’t know. He was a deputy at the time that happened so it’s possible he was part of the cover up.
Growing up in AP I had heard of the story of how Harold Tridico got away with killing a guy on a motorcycle on Donaldsonville after he had been drinking. I didn’t realize how few people had heard that story until this whole scandal hit the media recently.

How can someone who was checking out women he stalked through official background search later run for office. This dude was out of control while in charge of ATC (alcohol), running rampant over legit operations and pulling garbage on the side. He needs to stay away from public office or authority.

AP dodged a giant bullet with him dropping out. Donaldsonville’s wealthy folks would have RULED this parish had he won.
