Their vote buying programs are being threatened and they make have to actually earn voters for a damn change.

This is refreshing speech and language for once coming out of DC. The leeches in this country need to add to the system instead of being perpetual takers.

Get off your dead arse, put your Obamaphone down, and get a fricking job like the rest of us.

I'd be considered liberal by most on this board but I don't want anyone getting anything they don't deserve or work for.

Nothing wrong with being a Liberal, I have mad respect for lots of them, Progressives need to be lined up and led into ovens German style.

Sad thing is true Liberals are getting pretty rare these days.

It was the best single press conference ever given by an employee of the government. I could not believe it. He essentially channeled my brain. If you have a chance to check it out, you should (the press conference, not my brain). Press conference here: LINK

The amusing thing is that most people who label themselves progressive don't even know what that term actually means.

Ummm....this is already a requirement. There are a few listed exceptions to the work requirement.

Not sure what you (and mulvaney) are going on about.

SNAP recipients are required to work

UHwant doesn't believe that able bodied people take advantage of the SNAP program.

1 trip to the Baton Rouge DSS office will prove him wrong.

Ugh, not it is not. You need to read what you linked again and do a little research.

"Meeting Work Requirements" as defined by the USDA does not equal an actual requirement to work...

The Great Society supplanted the dignity of work with give me, give me and lessons on fleecing the system. Democrats are scared shitless of welfare reform, all of the good Clinton did was reversed by the Communist Organiser.

What about able-bodied people who can't work because they are caring for sick or indigent loved ones?
