I've heard that very sentiment expressed by the widows or other family members of soldiers and policemen themselves. It's not a bad thing, or at least it wasn't, until now. Because well.. Trump.

Just reminding people what sort of person the president is. If you’re a friend of a family who loses a soldier, maybe make sure you get to them before he does.
