Ignorant. So stupid. How can you even turn on your computer? I mean, c'mon.

Why should "we" care about what they want to do in England?
Because the European standard (of which England is a part) is what many of the Left want to move us toward.
There's also the fact that just believing something can't happen here because it never has is extremely short-sighted.

I've given you several opportunities to point out where your god is mentioned in the Constitution.
We both know why you've chosen not to do that.

We're dealing with people who have no idea how this country was founded. I mean, seriously. Citing the Declaration of Independence. Find the reference to your god in the Constitution
You would apparently be shocked to learn of the references to God and religion in the founding constitutions of several of the original states.

No, I wouldn't. If you want to make the claim that some states were founded based around the idea of their understanding of their god at the time, fine. But that isn't the argument that was made.

Their peasants managed to get theMagna Carta.
Magna Carta was forced on the King by the landed nobility, not by a peasant insurrection.

Yes, it is. The argument is the inclusion of God and religion in our nation’s founding, or lack thereof. As a collective of individual states, and the power of those states’ rights in the process, the presence of God and religion, even specific to Christianity, cannot be denied. To the extent that the constitution avoided the topic only further supports the fact that this was left to the individual states.

Yes, it is.
Wrong. Again.
This is the argument originally made:
quote:
In America, we believe our rights are granted to us by our creator.
That's obviously bullshite, so the argument shifted to our country being founded on the beliefs of the religious.
That's also bullshite. It isn't by accident that god or anything close to a god is excluded from our Constitution.
Obviously states were free to write their own constitutions. That doesn't change the point. It's a deflection.

Ignorance on what the term "natural rights" means, is what would cause a deranged leftist to think that, for example, healthcare is a right.

On this site, I have a better chance at being right with those numbers opposing me.
I want to know who taught you that your god was used to write our Constitution. Names. Let's go.

Neat. So it's a failure to understand the Declaration of Independence.
Got it.

You did that when you picked up the losing side of this argument.
