More time with dad = higher IQ

Need an assist on quotes from article. Mobile service is being a pain and re loading.
Says study conducted among 11,000 british men/women all born in the same year. Those who had more father involvement not only had higher IQs but were more social and had higher upward mobility even into their 30s and 40s.
As someone who had to fight for shared custody and finally won it (18 months and $7500 later), and having gone through my parents divorce, I wish it were easier for men in this country to be involved with their offspring.
Every case should begin at shared custody unless one party is shown to be unfit. No child should be prevented by a state from spending equal time with both parents.
Also, child support should be tax transferable to the party recieving and child tax credits should be either shared or counted as support.
Change my mind.

Men don't get equal treatment in regards to their children and the legal system. Women want equality everywhere? We should start here first.

I tried, dip shite. Wasn't my decision. In a world where everyone is available and seemingly replaceable, some people don't want to work things out.
P.s. many states, like NC are 0 fault states, so it doesn't matter who did what to who.

If a husband beats his wife and his kids, the wife should suck it up? What about if a wife has a spending addiction and is putting the family in severe debt?

Watch the Ken Burns Doc "College Behind Bars", G. I don't what the hell IQ means anymore. Thought I did, thought it had to do with Genes, Culture, etc., obviously per the Doc...I was mistaken.
There are people in that Doc, that don't know who their Dad was, and were raised in the most crippling of cultural scenarios. Now they are engaging in Formal Debates with the best that Harvard and West Point has to offer. Go figure. We should...less we crash and burn.

I suspect that is because more intelligent dads spend more time with and value their children more than the less intelligent dads. IQ is largely hereditary not environmental. These intelligent dads have more intelligent offspring, they aren't raising the IQ of the cognitively deficient by hanging out with them.

I'm not so sure, there are environmental factors in IQ scores.
