"In the Rio Grande Valley Sector alone, 41,470 crossed the border during the first two months of Fiscal Year 2019, which began on October 1. Of those, more than 30,000 were family units and nearly 8,000 were unaccompanied minors, according to the November Southwest Border Migration Report published by U.S. Customs and Border Protection. The largest number of these family units and unaccompanied minors came to the U.S. from Guatemala, Honduras, and El Salvador.:

Chuck Shummer said today that our border security from last year is working fine and we should simply continue doing what we did.
Do you dare challenge his assertion?

You do realize that the only reason that they know those numbers is because they caught them right? How are you missing something that obvious

So much for “natural border”. Put the wall there too.

Well, that is a Breitbart story, not a link to customs. Also, there is no reference to where customs data comes from. But there is a clue, in this passage:
quote:

And every day this is going to happen in a steady stream — right here, on this road, and these people are going to come and turn themselves in.”

The story is about people who allegedly enter illegally then report to US Immigration authorities. They should report to immigration, right? That way if they are not eligible for entry they can be sent out.

Do we build a wall at water's edge?

Or maybe create a 20 mile deep DMZ into Mexico.

If these are Central Americans then they are pouring across Mexico's southern border. Close our border crossing to Mexico until they close their southern border and enforce their laws.

Democrats need these immigrants for their survival, Wall ain’t happening if they can do anything to stop it. They make act like they want the border secured, but that’s a lie. They play to their constituents, even fool their own backers, but their plan to reshape America is dependent on mass immigration...

I'm gonna break into your house tonight, but I'll head straight to your bedroom to ask if it's okay if I stay.

For everyone caught, how many are released? For those caught, how many more arent caught?
Maybe you are just obtuse?

Because that is incredibly wrong.

We catch a lot. We also miss A LOT. We have a ton of cameras and BP dispatch to the areas but we often don't have the manpower to apprehend or find them all.

It's cute that you believe we catch everyone who crosses.

The bullets are much cheaper than supporting a single one of them on taxpayer assistance.
