LINK
In Another State of Mind, Mommy's Little Monster, Mike Ness, breaks his Ball and Chain, jumps into the Ring of Fire, and beats up Trump voter.
This article is loaded with goodies:
Trump supporter is a big fan. Shows up, hears politics and protests with a double bird for two songs. Lead singer gets pissed off, takes off guitar, and jumps into the crowd while fans hold down the Trump voter so he can kick his arse.
LOL
My favorite part of the article:
Another fan, James Mauldin, no doubt a Proggy that likely posts here, states the obvious Proggy response when Proggies attack:
“It was a little bit excessive,” said Social Distortion fan James Mauldin.
Mauldin says while Ness acted unprofessionally, music fans should understand controversy is part of the punk rock culture.
“If you’re that into politics, don’t put yourself in a situation where it could become a problem for you,” said Mauldin.
Yep. This guy had it coming! That's what he gets for disagreeing after being insulted. He was owed that violence.
Yay!!

Social Distortion are obscure and washed up (and were never that big to begin with)...but still, can you imagine what a national news story this would be forced on us as if a Clinton/Sanders supporter was beaten up by a semi-famous white guy? It would be proof that Trump has "coarsened" us, etc. etc.

Disappointed. Big fan of Social D. I know Ness's (and most other punkers from that era) politics lean left, but this is stupid of him.

Ironically, the only good song that band ever made was, "I was wrong". Should be appropriate when the trial begins.
Lyrics:
When I was young, I was so full of fear
I hid behind anger, and held back the tears
It was me against the world; I was sure I would win
But the world fought back; punished me for my sins
Well, I felt so alone; so insecure
But I blamed you instead; made sure I was heard
They tried to warn me of my evil ways
But I couldn't hear what they had to say
I was wrong.
Self-destruction's got me again
I was wrong...
I realize now that I was wrong
And I think about my loves; well, I've had a few
I'm sorry that I hurt them; did I hurt you too?
Well, I took what I wanted; put my heart on the shelf
But how can you love when you don't love yourself?
It was me against the world; I was sure that I'd win
But the world fought back; punished me for my sins
They tried to warn me of my evil way
But I couldn't hear what they had to say
I was wrong.
Self-distruction's got me again
I was wrong...
I realize now that I was wrong
I was wrong...
I was wrong...
Well, I grew up fast, and I grew up hard
Something was wrong from the very start
I was fighting everybody; I was fighting everything
But the only one that I hurt was me
I got society's blood running down my face
Somebody help me get out of this place
How could someones bad luck last so long
Until I realized that I was wrong
I was wrong
Self-destruction's got me again
I was wrong
I realize now that I was wrong
I was wrong
Self-destruction's got me again
I was wrong
The only one I hurt was me
I was wrong

He should dedicate "I was wrong" to that guy he beat up.

Hell, most people on here hailed Greg Gianforte when he assaulted that reporter in Montana.
