And that’s fine. Unfortunately, with an absolute claim, all it takes is one piece of evidence showing the contrary for that claim to crumble into dirt.
If I say “all birds fly” and you come up and show me a dodo bird, guess what? I’m a liar. Doesn’t matter if all of the other species of birds fly. My absolute statement is false.
Just like the absolute statement “Hillary Clinton’s em” doesn’t autocorrect to “Hillary Clinton’s emails” on google is incorrect.

What I did say, however, was that Hillary Clinton’s em DOES autofill to Hillary Clinton’s emails on mobile.
So, I think it's probably more accurate to say, you proved it is autofilling on YOUR mobile.

Of course you didn't.
Right. I just photoshopped all my pictures and edited my video to prove the OP wrong.

You haven't even yet established there is no manipulation in search characteristics (Hillary vs others) on your own platforms.
That wasn’t what was challenged by the OP. Now was it?
quote:
You have established a variance between some mobile devices, and between mobile devices and computers. That is certainly of interest. But there is no question Google is manipulating exactly as the OP holds. None! It is not even a debatable point.
No. It just PROVES A frickING ABSOLUTE STSTEMENT FALSE
quote:
Your observations, at best, simply establish Google is screwing with something less than 100% of it's searches.
It’s like I’m talking to a brick wall

That’s fine. Doesn’t need to be. Don’t you love absolute statements?

I'd like to point out that in your video, emails is 3rd down.
My searches only generate 2 autofills. Perhaps that's a setting. Maybe if I had mine set to generate 3-4 autofills, I'd get emails.
But, that's still weird because literally every other famous person I typed in, email was the first auto fill.

Prove it. Screen cap a video like I did. You have an iPhone X so you should have no issue.

Never said differently.

Mines on the default setting and idk how or what to change to alter that.

Probably so. But we aren’t talking about anyone else. We’re talking about how google “never” autofills “Hillary Clinton’s em” to Hillary Clinton’s emails.

Dude. Lots of us are having the same results. Not sure why this is so important to you.

Because I don’t understand how homeboy can sit here and tell me I’m lying when I have photographic and video proof. All he’s doing now is crawfishing and moving the goal post.
But uh uh uh like. Uh. It’s 3rd on the list. Uh uh uh mobile. Uh uh uh it’s your recent searches.
,just admit that absolute statements are bullshite. Especially when talking about a search engine that is beyond easy to manipulate from the outside.

Right. I just photoshopped all my pictures

If an autofill search string loads 10th vs 1st due to engine manipulation, that equates to filtering.

You tell me mr all I talk in is absolutes.

What’s challenged by the op is whether or not “Hillary Clinton’s em” autocorrects to “Hillary Clinton’s emails”

Link me where i said they don’t

No. I definitely know how it works. Do you know how absolute statements work? Because that is what the op is. And I disproved that absolute statement.

quote:Well. I'm not terribly concerned with the OPs absolute.
Probably so. But we aren’t talking about anyone else. We’re talking about how google “never” autofills “Hillary Clinton’s em” to Hillary Clinton’s emails.
CLEARLY, there is some odd difference between how she's being handled vs people similar to her which, given that she's the only one with a recent email scandal, makes for a very odd result.
I mean, I suspect that if you type in Bill Cosby rap.....you'll get "rape" as an autofill in the top couple. If you got it #10 when you searched George Bush rap.......that would be interesting but still, the expected hierarchy.
On the other hand. If it came up 5th for Cosby and first for Bush, you'd be like WTF???

quote:beerjeep wants to act like what you get when you type other people doesn't matter but that's just an odd assertion.
and there it is.
I mean, if you NEVER got email as first autofill for anyone, it wouldn't even be noteworthy to not get it for Hillary either. It would just indicate that email doesn't typically autofill.

Because they don’t. The assertion is “Hillary Clinton’s em” does not autofill to “Hillary Clinton’s emails”
Anything besides that is irrelevant.

Absolutely. Never claimed otherwise.
I did, however, go against the SPECIFIC claim that Hillary Clinton’s em doesn’t autofill to Hillary clintons emails. Which I backed up with photo and video proof.
