Which is why not sides are after him.

GOP - believes in goverment, afraid of its own shadow on social issues
Dems - Believes in goverment, wants a gay in every household

Was he removed from the bench twice for ignoring court orders?

Gay marriage is a sin. It needs to be a state issue

Regardless of the feelings about gay marriage, the supreme court ruling was ridiculous.

Honestly these days, yes, if you stand up for your Christian faith you are a hero. Moore was removed from the bench for trying to uphold Gods law

I don't believe in or support gay marriage but I think your OP is a stretch. Roy Moore doesn't have to agree with it or advocate for it but he does have to abide by the law of the land as Chief Justice of the Alabama Supreme Court. The GM issue was settled so he either was free to follow the law or as a matter of conscience resign his position if he couldn't enforce that law.

In a perfect world each state would be able to vote up or down whether to legalize GM in their states

Say what you want, but his bench removal was persecution for his Christian faith

Your post has 5 downvotes already, it always cracks me up when the closet gays on here downvote Christians

Now THIS is a reason not to vote for him. The Dems couldn't help themselves, though. They had to go back to the old playbook. Now you have people who would be disgusted by his lack of respect for the law defending him because these disgusting accusations stink to high heaven.

But why can’t it be both? Why would the folks who would dislike him for his flagrant disregard for the rule of law all of a sudden abandon those principles just because of some allegations of impropriety from his past?

Does the rule of law really matter to these folks?

It may be argued that some are undermining the rule of law in this country by trying to stack the US supreme court with activist to write their own law.
