The Second Amendment Preservation Act of Newton County Missouri cites the state’s own constitution for justifying the legislation. "All federal acts, laws, orders, rules, and regulations passed by the federal government and specifically any Presidential Administration whether past, present, or future, which infringe on the people's right to keep and bear arms as guaranteed by the Second Amendment of the United States Constitution and Article I, Section 23 of the Missouri Constitution shall be invalid in the county," the act reads.
The ordinance would criminalize the enforcement of any federal law that infringes upon the citizens of Newton County’s right to keep and bear arms.

This is great, but Americans who live in less conservative areas shouldn’t have their constitutional rights infringed upon simply due to geography.

I agree 100% but we have seen how the "The Law" and Constitution has worked out the past year. Like Pennsylvania violating their own Constitutional Election Laws to allow frickery and the SCOTUS passing on hearing the Case.
This is pretty damn cool of this County to do this. Hopefully other Counties will follow.

Now we need some patriot governors and state AGs to follow suit.

Then get your local authorities to pass the same laws or put someone in that will. It must go this route before it goes national. This is the world we live in now.

How about we simply don’t allow executive orders to usurp the constitution!

In a normal American constitutional gvt, I’d agree but since rules done apply and we can’t even have an honest election or audit, this is what must be done.

I just sent my Rep an email of this Article. Up here in Northern Utah just about Everyone owns Firearms.
These County Officials would be Heroes passing an Ordinance like this up here.

It’s up to the people living in those areas to not elect progressive filth. Elections have consequences.

Why should an American’s constitutional rights be based on the apathy of his fellow citizens?
