So Pence prayed with the wrong people? How petty can you get? You're like the guy getting disaster rations that's upset because the cans of minestrone are Great Value and not Campbell's.

I didn't do that either. I didn't even say anything negative about jews.

I did say something about it being surprising that these groups tolerate each other when their writings can be very negative to each other. I quoted the bible already, quoting the talmud would just show more.

But keep up the libel, though it can be a bloody mess I hear.

Wrong. That isn’t how one becomes a rabbi.

Jesse: I already told you that each group can determine what their standards are. Jesse was ordained. Go ahead, tell us who ordained this “rabbi.”

Nope.

But Ok. So if my community says a boy is a girl then she is a girl.

Or if my community says Rachel Dolezal is black then she is black.

If I call dentist a plastic surgeon then he is just that, and is qualified to perform breast augmentation.

You are dumb

What makes a Jew a Jew? Is it RACE or RELIGION?

Answer: Whatever is convenient for the narrative.

So what part of this offends you, lefty? His praying for the families of murdered Jews? His prayer to the God he believes in? Or the that that the God he believes in happens to be named Jesus.

Actually, it was organized by a Jewish Republican House candidate, and Pence showed up to endorse her.

Who are the mainstream Jews? Judaism is made up of varying denominations, including Messianic Jews.

And why would anyone with a well-defined understanding of their spiritual; beliefs allow someone else to define them? Messianic Jews don't allow anyone to define them. They are Jews who believe Jesus was and is the Messiah.

Some denominations ordain women as rabbis, some don't. Which ones are the real Jews in your opiinion?

Dude, do you think people just up and decide one day to become a Rabbi? I would think God plays a part in their decision...

However, as with denominations, sects, and other things there are thousands of ways for someone to become a Rabbi, pastor, elder, deacon, preacher, minister, etc, etc... It just depends on the "religion's" set code...

Sorry that you cannot see that and your desire to be offended has blinded you... I will offer prayers for you...

WAIT!!!

You can't do that without first finding out if A) You are the right type of person to pray for him and B) and if so, if your praying for him would offend him or anyone else in any way. These be the new rules!!!

There are a number of ways to be given the title of rabbi without ever going to rabbinical school. In those cases, it's largely a title of respect. If someone has taught a group of Jews or mentored a group of Jews, they may well bestow the title of rabbi upon him.

Had a chaplain, I called Rabbi... He was a great guy, Methodist, but just one of the best chaplains I ever saw in the military... I did it to rib him and joke with him... He took no offense...

Years later, at his retirement, he mentioned how honored he was when one person started calling him Rabbi and then the entire unit started referring to him as Rabbi...

"teacher" and even the disciples referred to Jesus as Rabbi....

Jews believe that the Holy Trinity is in fact three separate Gods therefore Jesus is not thought to be the messiah because he's one of the three. Therefore a Messianic Jew is really not a Jew from a theological perspective, but someone who identifies with the Jewish culture and worships as a Christian.

One person commented about the Apostles and the fact that they were Jews. In truth 11 of them were Galileans, very much different from Judeans. Only one Apostle Judas Ascariot was Judean.
There is a evangelical movement associated with the right of Israel to exist and prosper as understood from Bible prophesy. It is an ignorant belief system because the modern Jewish world is not the one of the Old Testament, much like the Judean of old was unlike and not related to scripture as told.

Regardless of their origin all studied under a Jewish teacher, practiced Jewish traditions, observed Jewish law and were instructed by Jesus to take his message to, "the lost sheep of the house of Israel."

Paul said, “ I am not ashamed of the Gospel , because it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes , first to the Jew , then to the Greek."

Jesus either considered them Jewish or he screwed up his mandate.
