He uses a commercial window unit air conditioner to cool off his Chevy Suburban before he gets in, because he doesn't like heat.

The A/C in the car is not enough?

I have a Yukon similar to that vehicle and the A/C can freeze you out.

His elimination of big gulps in NY resulted in more smaller cups being used = increased environmental burden on the landfills.

New York City has idling laws, due to climate change. You can't leave your car idling for more than 3 minutes. I'm serious. Some concerned citizens complained that he was leaving his Suburban idling too long while waiting for it to cool off.

This is Bloomberg's attempt to get around those idling laws. So he obeys the letter of the law, but breaks the spirit of the law...

ETA: Idling laws that were implemented while he was mayor...

I know the guy’s politics are shite, but I like this.

He put money into a project that gives the finger to the climate change chicken littles.

Would be a foolish waste of gas to turn the car on and leave it running just to run the A/C

Plus, by the looks of the picture he created 4 jobs to keep the car cool.

There was a law passed in New York City where a person isn't allowed to run their engines while idling over a certain amount of time. The window unit was meant to circumvent the law.
