Media double standard...march for life vs march for gun control

The former has for decades been the single largest DC rally every single year, yet it gets literally zero media coverage from the big networks. The most recent marhc for life rally was TWICE the size of the gun control rally, despite DC itself being 96% pro-choice. Meaning people had to travel from other places to march.
The latter is a one time, smaller than expected rally, and it is treated like a fricking civil rights march with 24/7 coverage by all the networks. And it took place in a 96% favoring gun control city, meaning it has a built in advantage of convenient travel.
What could POSSIBLY explain this discrepancy besides the explanation that the people at the networks ideologically disfavor the former, while favoring the views of the latter?

Ironic that it is in fact an ANTI civil rights march

The former is also often framed as the "Anti-abortion" march.

Just like the march for life.

They’re all wastes of time/effort/resources. I wish the media wouldn’t cover any of them.

Are these real facts or alternative facts? Remember when Trump had the largest inauguration crowd ever?

And March for Life doesn’t have huge money celebrity money flowing in to fund it. And none of the leaders of it get a platform on all the morning, late night, and weekend shows to spread their views.

Not really. Both sides of that have a solid civil rights argument:
Pro-Abortion (Choice) movement = right to kill unborn children
Pro-Life (Anti Abortion = right of those unborn children to live
All gun control is "anti right" - so gun control is inherently anti civil right (whether you agree that the trade of is worth it or not).
See the difference?

Money. One gets clicks/views and one doesn’t.
But I’m sure it’s the boogeyman.
