I was thinking about that show the other night.
A black lady that lives a couple of houses down from me was trying to get into her mailbox that night, we have community mailboxes in my neighborhood. I was walking my dog and saw her struggling to get her key in the box. There is a motion sensor above the mailboxes that turns a light and it wouldn't come on.
I asked her if she needed some light and she said yes.
I pulled out my cell phone to use the flashlight and when I walked up to the mailbox the sensor registered and light came on.
