Same was recently said about Tillerson. Trump wants to destroy the Obama Iran deal and Tillerson and McMaster were big obstacles to making that happen

And NORK. Trump needs a Wartime Consiglieri.

Sorry Rex and H.R. but you are just not wartime Consiglieri.

Well, H.R. is at least hawkish on N. Korea.

Great. Looking forward to having a nuclear North Korea AND a nuclear Iran and for Donald "I'm like George W Bush but somehow even dumber" Trump to have us try to simultaneous invade both of them.

Nobody wants a war, but negotiating through strength is our greatest asset, use it.

Well people seem ready to support a “war-time consigliere” for all the wars we are about to be in.

I can smells the MISSION ACCOMPLISHED from here.

Dems do, they want to go to war with Russia. What morons downvoting this shite? Like the Iran deal is good for America? What the frick is wrong with people. If you grew up in the 80-90's you know how dangerous this is and giving Iran the chance to make nukes is like giving Hitler steel in 1933.

Renegotiating the JCPOA should be the way to go. Include the missile program as well as either ending the sunset provision or extending it, and it's a start. That no allies, nor Russia, nor Iran, are likely to agree to those provisions without something major in return is problematic, and makes me think that war could be a likely outcome.

Maybe because we are not shrieking in fear about the bloodlust in these guys causing immediate war with N Korean and Iran. Maybe we think the Iran Nuke deal sucked from our perspective and that the tougher stances with N Korea have paid dividends in potential talks towards nuclear disarmament......... Maybe.

I think it is at least obvious now that Obama failed in foreign policy and with a few months on the job Trump had shown a greater grasp of policy than Obama. Obama's way of making a deal was saying sorry and then bending over in preparation for some cock.

Obama has wet dreams about Iranian dirty bombs killing Americans.

Trump didn't like Tillerson's comments on climate change either, seems Tillerson was a believer in anthropogenic climate change.

I like Exxon’s approach toward climate change or whatever you want to call it. They did not get to where they are as a corporation being complacent and not looking toward the future. You can be sure Exxon, chevron, etc will be leaders in the transition of fossil fuels. A lot more R&D funded in their budgets and technology is going to help big time.

I say this as someone who works in the oil and gas industry.

DONG, Statoil and Shell are currently larger players in renewable energy than either Exxon or Chevron, and will continue to be so.
