quote:

Cheney spoke about McCarthy's leadership in the party early Wednesday, stating that he was not a wise choice to head the GOP moving forward. Harriet Hageman easily defeated Cheney in the GOP primary race to represent Wyoming's at-large congressional district.

"We need leaders who have reverence for our Constitution, who are faithful to our Constitution and who are going to do what's required to abide by our oath," Cheney said on NBC's "Today" show, "no matter whether or not it's politically convenient. Kevin McCarthy certainly does not fit that bill."

Asked for a response, an aide to McCarthy pointed Fox News to "comments made by Liz Cheney's father, Dick Cheney, when he was campaigning in 1976."

Dick Cheney said at the time: "Principle is OK up to a certain point, but principle doesn't do any good if you lose."

If Liz really cared about the constitution she'd be trying to free those who have been unconstitutionally detained over the January 6th fiasco.

No, he’s saying Liz should take a hunting trip with her father.

I think if you make a stink about Jan 6th

which was a protest about how the mail in ballots were allowed

Trump loses election at 4 am it's beyond concerning people are okay with the pandemic used to change election practices and laws.

The problem is Democrats feel screwed in the Bush and Trump Elections because the Dems won the popular vote

So who again is for Constitutional principals?

The freaking Democrats give the Constitution the middle finger all the time

why do you think they fight so hard over SCOTUS picks?

they want activist judges,

Scalia is dead, and here we are...

Democrats and GOP members thinking Trump is a threat to Democracy when in fact it is they who the populace should fear should they remain in power

I agree with Cheney on one thing here.

McCarthy should not be minority or majority leader.

Ironically, this describes both Cheney and McCarthy
