Mayor Pete is runing against a imaginary man. Tries to sell Trump as anti gay

On MSNBC he stated "Or if somebody who wants to raise the question of which one of us has the more traditional attitude on marriage we can have that fight.”
Really? Can't be talking about Trump. Because Trump... has pretty much always been "I don't care". He he is when little Pete was a hairless wonder..
That was from the year 2000 When Trump was considering a run on the Reform ticket.
It amazes me that the left takes money and supports people that drop gays off of buildings and some how try to attach a false label on Trump.
AMAZING!

quote:
Why should gays and lesbians be interested in you as a presidential candidate?
I grew up in New York City, a town with different races, religions, and peoples. It breeds tolerance. In all truth, I don’t care whether or not a person is gay. I judge people based on their capability, honesty, and merit. Being in the entertainment business — that is, owning casinos and … several large beauty pageants — I’ve worked with many gay people. I have met some tough, talented, capable, terrific people. Their lifestyle is of no interest to me.
Would we see gay people in a Trump administration?
I would want the best and brightest. Sexual
orientation would be meaningless. I’m looking for brains and experience. If the best person for the job happens to be gay, I would certainly appoint them. One of the key problems today is that politics is such a disgrace, good people don’t go into government. I’d want to change that.
Are your gay employees allowed to be out?
Everyone makes a personal choice. Look, it just doesn’t matter to me. I try to treat everybody equal and fairly. Maybe that’s why I can count men like Muhammad Ali, Joe Frazier, and Sammy Sosa as my friends. When you hang with people who are different from you, you get an appreciation for other cultures.

Obama and Hillary didn’t come out for gay marriage until they were sure black voters wouldn’t rebel

Richard Grennel first openly gay ambassador for any US President EVER. (Worth a follow on twitter as well)
Peter Thiel speaking on his own accord in 2016 GOP convention. First open gay to do so.
Trump at Colorado campaign rally waving LGBTQ flag. When is the last GOP President to even openly engage with that.
He has shifted the party in a great direction as far as the gays. He’s done nothing to make that group hide in fear. Especially after his admin passed the bill for reduced HIV medicine. He won’t win the majority of them over but his stance on it will hopefully shift the GOP.

Imagine that. Trump treats everyone as equals.
The left claims to be the party of equality but they always have to have a boogeyman (whites, men, Christians, straight) to put down to “raise” their little victims up.

HILTON: Don't you think it's just great to the fact see the fact that you've got a guy there, on the stage, with his husband -- and it's normal? TRUMP: I think it's absolutely fine, I do. HILTON: But isn't it a sign of great progress in the country...? TRUMP: Yeah, I think it's great. I think it's something that perhaps some people will have a problem with. I have no problem with it whatsoever. I think it's good.

Trump was the first President ever to support gay marriage at his first convention.

I was thinking this morning that Trump has been very careful to make fun of everything about Pete except his homosexuality.
Maybe this is a damned if you do and damned if you don’t situation.
