she will be able to run for mayor again, buy guns..vote...walk around free like nothing ever happened starting...oh YESTERDAY.
throw in her boy-toy $47k indictment and that's $57k (at least) she's been directly involved with stealing.
lets see the average poster on here skate on FELONY THEFT and not only serve no time, but get UNSUPERVISED probation.
what a joke.
bitch wasn't even fired from her job, she was allowed to resign.

Barry's deal, brokered in secret with the district attorney's office, required Barry to resign and pay $11,000 to the city, meant as reimbursement for Forrest's travel fees during the affair. She did both Tuesday. She will remain on unsupervised probation through 2021, according to the district attorney's office.
The negotiated terms shielded her from the harsher consequences of her charge.
State law allows a prison sentence of up to six years for a first-time Class C felony theft conviction. A conviction on official misconduct, another charge the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation was considering, could have added more prison time.
Unless she violates her probation, Barry will avoid long-term punishments typically associated with felony charges. She can still vote and own a gun, among other things.

people here are wringing their hands "oh how will this affect the nashville economic boom?!?"
WELL WE WERE DOING PLENTY FINE BEFORE HER AND CONSIDERING SHE DID JACK shite AS MAYOR, I THINK WE'LL BE JUST FINE.
i guess losing out on that 3.2 BILLION DOLLAR train from downtown to uber-elite belle meade she was trying to ram down our throats will really hurt our boom.

If this was one of us little people, any sentence that didn’t include prison would have been one with extended and supervised probation.

She can still vote and own a gun

There are different rules for the club vs. us peasants.
Maybe she sucked somebody off to get off. I mean, she is a whore.

She can run for mayor again

Oh and I forgot she's on a short leash. She has to not violate the terms of her UNSUPERVISED probation and commit additional felonies for 3 years.
How will ol gal manage to pull that off?

She got worse than what former Governor Bentley got and his crimes were more egregious.
Bentley walked away Scot free.
Politicians that are not loyal to their own families can't possibly be loyal to their constituents.
If they care so little for their own families imagine how small of a frick they actually care about strangers.
That goes for Trump, Clinton, Barry, Bentley, etc. They all should have been forced to resign.
