I'd be surprised if she wins, but looking at the district she's running in, she may have a better chance than we think. A chunk of it is west Baltimore, but a lot of it is also rural or suburban Howard County and Baltimore county, which is predominantly white middle upper class. Her opponent Mfume (nee' Frizzell Gerald Gray) is a recycled political layabout, so it could be interesting.

She already lost the special election to the person she is running against now.

75k+ voted the D primary.
13k votes in the R primary.

Not sure she stands a chance, but one could hope!

I hope she does win, but Black Republicans don’t do well. She may be able to get her name out and get more publicity for another office. I don’t believe Black women will vote for her and tolerate their men voting fo her, I hope I’m wrong,!but she may be another Alan West or John James.

Her talent is well, undeniable. But she is a college dropout, and has yet to be elected, and will not likely win this election. But none the less, the force is strong with this one. This the second one of her videos to gain traction, and the second time she has caught Trump's attention. She is young and I think the republicans should invest heavy in her, send her back to college. She may be too green right now, but can groomed into a force with the proper guidance. We need more young stars and she can be one.

Well getting beat by 30% would represent a nearly 2-fold improvement over the previous SE results ..... unfortunately

Impoverished Blacks have GOT to understand that bloc voting equates to ZERO influence.
