when he wouldn't show up to court.
Weaver was sent a letter with a court date roughly a month later than the actual date. Accident or not, That's what got the marshals after his arse.

So it was a set-up...and Weaver knew it...and knew to stay away after that.
It's one of the scariest ironies in America...the guy tried to get as far away from government as possible (And frankly society) - and yet they went after him - for partly that reason.

mizzoubuckeyeiowa the government came after him when he showed up on the radar after going to a get together at the Aryan Nations rallies. He was being recruited heavy by the Aryan Nation, which he did not believe in their goals or most of their ideals. Randy's religious beliefs are why he did not join the Aryan Nation, he did attendant a number of their rallies, but this is due to the Nation's group and family members were Randy's nearest neighbors and some similar religious beliefs. Remember in the Christian church there are many dominations and the Aryan Nation was far outside his beliefs on many lines.
ATF informant Kenneth Faderley set him up on the charges in question. The ATF wanted Randy to infiltrate the Aryan Nations, meaning they already knew he was not a member of the group and offed to drop the weapon charges. Randy knew Charles Howarth and the ATF wanted him to introduce Faderley to Howarth, this is what the set up was all about.

Meh. Weavers had bad intentions, and catalyzed some bad shite
This is a) irrelevant and b) at least a reductionist account of the facts.

I'm leaning more towards the Weaver's being the ZOG ( Zionist Occupation Government) hating Conspiracy kooks that they were & this mistake led to him vowing to fight to the death before surrendering.
Ironically all charges were dropped except the Failure to appear , At the end of the day Weaver was a nobody ,but you'd think the Marshals were after El Chapo.
Unnecessary.

Pretty much spot on CB58, the only intentions Randy had were to be left alone by fedgov
And screw the warrant that the agents should have been able to serve without incident, right? Randy decided to make his "stand" for whatever reason. I wonder if he would be happy that Timothy Mcveigh decided to avenge Ruby Ridge by killing over 150 people.
This anti-government paranoia is literally pathological and self- aggrandizing. Narcissistic, as well.

They sent him the wrong court date. Not his fault he didn't show.

LOL....you'll be looking for a long arse time to find this oxymoron. But you can easily find a prog/Dem moron if that helps.

So you settle that by hunkering down and trying to fight it ou? That's some stupid shite right there. It would have been easy to take care of it through legal channels. I tell clients all the time that there's no percentage in arguing with the cops during a traffic stop. Ruby Ridge was a horribly distorted version of that behavior, and it should never have happened.

The dude thought he had another month before he was due in court. WTF, he was a dumbass, but you can't fault him for not being a damn mind-reader.

Yet he was convicted of Failure to Appear. His paranoid hatred & distrust of the US Government ( ZOG) led him to declare war . How about taking the letter he received with the wrong date to his new " Failure to appear" charges date ?
Posted on 9/10/17 at 7:02 pm to sugar71
Instead of waiting for him to appear on the date in question, the government indicted for failing to appear. When Weaver found out, he was convinced he wouldn't get a fair trial. Later, during the standoff, the Marshal's Service negotiated an agreement for Weaver to surrender, which was refused by the US Attorney.

We should absolutely trust the government. They would never frame anyone, kill innocent people, take money or property unjustly.

Paranoia? Have you lived the last 20 years?
And Gerry Spence predicted all this shite...the big dope that he is...and outlined what has changed and what is going on in America stripping our freedom and making us slaves to corporations and the government.
"From Freedom to Slavery" - read the book.
Just because you were probably born when this government action seems normal to you - Waco, Ruby Ridge, Police State during traffic stops...doesn't mean others think it's normal. Because it's not and never was.
