anyone listen to the whole interview? I had alot of respect for Matt Walsh's work on "what is a woman". My respect stopped there after listening to him on Rogan. He let his religous beliefs on marraige on married people having kids are so damn out dated. When Joe asked him why would God make people gay he just stumbled on his words and kept muttering about peoples falling nature and God. His thoughts on marraige is about producing children. Gay people cant produce children so they cant get married. But it's okay if a man marries a woman and they dont have kids. According to him they still have a maturnal service and should adopt or volunteer with children. I just don't understand this way of thinking.

It's ok to disagree with people. We dont have to agree on every single point of view. His view was more from a big picture societal standpoint, while joe was looking at it more from an individual view.

God doesn't "make people gay".

They consciously choose to sin.

God doesn't make people gay and more than He makes people serial killers. We all have free will and it's up to us to decide on how to act out.

It really is this simple.

I disagree with his marriage stance.
But I haven't found anyone I agree on every single topic on.

It's OK to have a different opinion.

It's when those differing opinions mount up that I stop becoming a fan of you. I.e. Libs

Matt Walsh is an old style Catholic. I grew up raised by a whole generation of them. They were great people and the lessons they taught me helped tremendously when I was young. But a guy Matt's age who still clings to those ideas is kinda rare these days.

i 100% agree with the serial killer statement, you lost me on the gay issue. I have a gay first cousin who grew up pentecostal just like me. He came out in college and 80% of our large family will not talk to him. His dad hasnt spoke to him in almost 20yrs. If he had a choice on his sexuality i think he would have chosen a much easier path.

Yes and no. I do think people are born gay but they do still have a choice on whether to act on those desires. Same thing with pedophiles. I don’t think people just choose to be attracted to children, they’re born with that mental health issue, but that doesn’t mean they need to fulfill those desires either.

Churches endorsing gay relationships is horrible. That doesn’t mean they should shun gay people from the church as we are all sinners. But acting like it isn’t a sin isn’t preaching the gospel correctly either

God doesn’t “make people gay.”
Who is still parroting this nonsensical idea?

This is a ridiculous logical argument. I could inset any life-limiting issue in that blank.

“If he had a choice on cocaine addiction, I think he would have chosen a much easier path.”

“If he had a choice on gambling addiction, I think he would have chosen a much easier path.”

People choose difficult paths all the time.

I mean, I disagree with Matt on gay marriage, but at least he’s honest about it and not a spineless pussy. I respectfully disagree with him but Matt came across very well in the interview.

This is a truism. Marriage is about producing children. Propagating the species.

Some cars get parked in museums. Some rust out in junk yards. That doesn’t mean that the category of “cars” is not a device intended for transportation.
