And that is just one place they got caught. If they didn't do something similar (contact tracing, "other" helpful apps) to every phone in their ecosystem, I'll eat my hat.
And Apple almost certainly did something similar as well.

Our employers mandatory testing in lieu of vaccination had an app for test submission and results. I have no doubts as to their tracking of the vaccine deniers.

Google installed "contact tracing" overnight into Android phones.
If you went to settings, it was there to "turn on" if you felt like you wanted to. I'm willing to bet whether you turned it on or not, they were tracing you

It’s unfortunate Trump’s DOJ/FTC didn’t even try to neuter any of these big tech monopolies.
I wonder if anything would change if one of Zuckerberg or Brin or Page were assassinated like a political figure.

They’ve been doing WORK during and post COVID. I’ve added them to my annual contribution list. I think they were the ones that sued over a vaccine mandate for medical workers or something.

What's it under though? I remember looking a while back and not finding it specifically. I did get notification for tracing but never found how to turn it off or delete it.
