Here’s the origin

1) Sit still
2) here’s a video game, just be quiet
3) the problem with education is that little Susie doesn’t get enough attention
4) we don’t need recess
5) athletes are assholes
6) you’re a loser if you work with your hands
7) We don’t need men
8) The skills of men are not valuable
9) men are the cause of all the problems in the world
10) men don’t know how privileged they are, which makes them even more deplorable

At about 20, you’ve been living with this in your head for 20 years. From your teachers, from your girlfriends, in movies (or whatever the hell it is kids watch on YouTube), on the news, in the law, in rejection letters . . . . And it goes on. Your maleness is the problem.

These dudes are already mentally imbalanced, and they snap. They have no outlet for their skills or their anger.

They’ve been doing it since Columbine.

Their anger boils over and they fricking snap. That’s it.

The same thing happens when the mass shooters are black guys (think about the Dallas Police Ambush, the Baton Rouge Ambush, and that guy in Tennessee that shot up the church). They were black, but had been told their whole lives they were useless and scary bc they were men. They picked their victims as the ones who they perceived as blaming the shooter for all the problems in the world.

I don’t know how to solve the problem, but I assure you that’s the origin. Sheer rage at a lifetime of being maligned and marginalized. Continuing to blame white dudes, and shaming them for their “hate” isn’t solving shite. It will just make it worse. These guys already have been convinced there is something wrong with them. They are filled with shame and self loathing, and they are pissed off about it.

Banning naming them on TV, taking away guns, or “fighting hate” isn’t going to get rid of the problem.

We need to support and value masculinity. By that I mean - In education, in employment, and in culture and in your own children. It’s not attention these crazies are after. It’s vengeance.

Most of them thinking they won't be killed by law enforcement doesn't help either.

Should someone that shoots up a mall be allowed to surrender?

If so, how long should they be allowed to live in jail? How many appeals do they get?

If they knew they would either be killed at the scene or put to death within a month or so some might reconsider.

They usually don't intend to survive. It's a relatively new phenomenon to surrender.

... but it sure seems to be happening a lot.

Wonder how many back in the day tried to surrender but were shot down?

I agree with this statement but for a completely different reason.

I blame the Democrat politicians and media. Both vocally encourage and call for violence against the right. While at the same time calling the right, the party of violence and hatred.

So, how can anyone be surprised by either someone on the left or right committing violence for political reasons.

This is not a 2nd Amendment issue, it's directly related to the rhetoric spewed on certain 24 hour news networks.

When you’re so out of your fricking mind that you walk into a Walmart 600 miles from your house and start shooting people at random for no reason, I’d feel pretty safe in saying, you’re not really deterred by any consequences.

That said. There’s no rehabilitating a lunatic who would do this. Death penalty is deserved. Whether he’s taken out on the scene or on Death Row.

I put a lot of blame on this. Not only for mass shooters, but for ANTIFA types as well.

These people have grown up sitting at a TV playing games like Grand Theft Auto all their lives. They’re desensitized to the point that they think violence is all part of a game. They don’t comprehend the real-life aspect of it, and when they engage in it IRL and face the consequences, it’s an extremely rude awakening.

I’m not saying that games don’t have their place...they do. The key is better parenting. Stop using that PS4 as a babysitter. Raise your damn kids yourself.

Well too bad for him - because the state of Texas will handle that quick enough for him

I wouldn't go this far, but I would say it's a factor.

Internet. All problems and fears are magnified ten fold. All manner of destructive acts can be researched from your bedroom.

Mass killings were happening long before Columbine, long before modern firearms and even before guns existed at all. They span all generations of human existence and are not isolated to the age of technology or our “masculinity is bad” society.

The scary fact that most refuse to accept: This is not new, it is not unique, you are just more tuned in and hearing about it more today than in the past. And the kicker: It will continue to happen as long as we exist on this planet.

Time to face reality

Or.. they simply have mental illnesses that resulted in them not being accepted into society. That breeds distrust, hatred, and violence. The internet gives them echochambers to reinforce/radicalize their beliefs and they eventually take action.

Well said, Wednesday.

They all snap at once because of the divisive MSM telling them what a hateful racist Trump (Bush)(GWBush) (Reagan) are.

With Trump they had people convinced Trump was a KGB asset, separates babies from mommies, that hates everybody but white people.

Obama created this bon fire to max level.

Every one of Obama's BLM claims was as fake as Jussie and the MSM never reported it.

The NYTimes posted an article of the where abouts of high govt officials and a loon shot up a congressional baseball game and almost killed Steve Scalise...

The media and it's vile mouth piece needs stopped or nothing will change.

It is odd that Trump's tweets are said by so many to cause these shootings... when the left constantly and universally preaches that white men are evil.

In reality, it's probably neither of these.
