Masks and gloves will be the new plastic bags and straws for environmental fanatics

It’s coming. People are tossing them on the ground, they’re clogging up pipes, muh climate change etc
Soon we will see viral videos of sea turtles and pelicans stuck inside a face mask or latex glove
Then the narrative of paper masks and gloves or metal masks and gloves will be pushed

I still don’t see why people are spending the money on masks. Just buy a dozen bandannas are you are set for life. They are washable and if you have to wear a face covering then at least bandannas don’t like totally ridiculous.

The elimination of paper bags is going to have an effect on the next generation's grasp of geometry.

I was a grocery sacker as a kid and those old lady checkers drove me nuts making sure about the precision of my placing objects in the bag. I think one of them was alive up to a couple of years ago, lived to be 100 or damned close.
A paper grocery sack is great but there are multiple ways to put things in them.
not to those damned old ladies though
