Nearly 70 percent of voters in a Kansas City, Mo. municipal election on Tuesday approved removing Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s name from a historic boulevard.

The thoroughfare, known as The Paseo, had been named for the late civil rights icon in an 8-4 city council vote in January, FOX 4 in Kansas City reported.

Did crime decline to a level where the name was no longer appropriate?

Meh. Whenever my birthday is on a Monday I got the day off because of MLK. I got no problem with him

He’s not the problem. It’s the people who use his name to advance their wild political agendas that the conservative MLK would never agree with who are the problem.
