Why not, like in real life, not associate with people you can’t get along with?
If people do participate in “hate” speech, on either side, let them. Like in real life they will suffer any consequences of what they say and where they say it. Why moderate at all

Although, I've heard from some on the left that Facebook should be treated like a utility. Stuff like this would be illegal with a quickness if that were the case.

Zuckerberg better worry about potential jail time if it's true that Facebook gave an undisclosed corporate donation to Obama's campaign in 2012 , and it certainly appears as though they did.
