Without giving too much away lets just say I work in election technology. The LA SoS and every Parish's RoV and Clerk of Court have been preparing for this election and training on the eqpt for 8 months.

Louisiana's election/voting systems and security are as good or better than any other state in the nation.

So we aren’t prepared?

What do you mean? Whatever is happening right now is unrelated to the election. The voting machines used in early voting and the procedures are all brand new. The state spent a fortune on it and the local training.

The Early Voting systems and procedures are brand new. Early voting is handled by the Registrar of Voters offices. Election day voting still use the manual machines and are handled by the Clerks of Court offices.

I’ve heard from multiple state employees I work with. This is a unplug your Ethernet and turn everything off major hack. Surely this and the election on Saturday are unrelated in any fashion.

Correct. Even SNAP benefits are offline. Unless you're suggesting that breaking the foodstamp network is part of an elaborate election hack... two days after the election.

Look, both campaigns had observers monitoring every step of the election and vote counting in every Parish. If there was anything unusual or irregular at all why hasn't there been a peep from anyone? Not a single report or complaint from either side.

Maybe because, unlike the Democrats, Republicans accept results they don’t like and move on. Same passivity that has voters being bused in from the inner city and cemeteries by the Dims, while the R’s sit back and take it up the arse. Repeatedly. Thank goodness for the Orange Man, no one else has enough nads to push away the shite sandwich we are being fed

You're trying to talk sense and logic to people looking for a reason JBE won other than Rispone ran a poor campaign. It's a lesser version of Russian Collusion/Recession/QPQ/Impeachment/etc bullshite the Dems have been playing in DC in order to discredit Trump's win ever since Election Night 2016

and if it is multiple state agencies, my guess is it was an IT employee in the now consolidated IT Department.

If Rispone had won by less than 40K votes and the system had crashed today there would already be court injunctions filed to block the results of the election by Honor Code and crew.

So the state IT Director's house catches on fire the same day the state's IT system goes down.

Any word yet on how many of Hillary's emails were on JBE's servers?

How long until Howze doesn't hang himself?

Did JBE steal the election after all?

There’s little doubt frickery took place just a matter of where and how. Not even Bel’s hero Edwin got 99% of the AA vote and he was running against the Grand Dragon of the KKK.

You saw that his house really was on fire today, right?

The roof. The roof. The roof is on fire
