He's already on the hook til sworn in if elected. Ticket name deadlines have already passed.

You're voting for a slate of electors for the Electoral College, not individual candidates. Do they even teach Civics any more?

That's how I took it. Kind of like the NeverTrump wet dreams that they would force a brokered convention and on the 3rd vote electors would be free to vote in ¡Jeb!

I do think there would be a huge wave of enthusiasm if that happened. I don’t know if it’s even possible at that point, but I think that would blow the lid off this whole thing.

That's what I was referring to, maybe I should've been more specific. You're voting for Joe. If he for some reason is incapacitated, all votes for Joe still apply to Kamala because she would tyen be the ticket.

If Biden wins and he’s found not suitable to serve before being sworn in....does it go to the Supreme Court since Trump finished second? Technically, Kamala isn’t go to step up because he was never sworn in.

It's up to each state. The Supreme Court just ruled a few months ago that states can require their EC electors to vote for the nominee they're pledged to. Not all states have such a law and there's nothing stopping states from rushing new legislation through freeing them to vote for whomever.
