Next, is your point that voter ID would then lead to a database that tracks our votes? Sounds like something we should be opposed to.
that's gonna leave a mark.

It’s easy now because voter ID laws have changed to be more inclusive….right?

Yep, he's going to go back to the George and Lester era, at the very least. Democrats are going to Democrat.

Right...which certainly makes them entirely separate.
I never argued that they're separate, only that conservatives are right to fear confiscation when the discussion of firearm licensure comes up seeing that one historically follows the other.
Unfortunately for your sorry attempt at a gotcha, the same cannot be said for voting.

Why would voter id be needed for this?

Yeah, I think you missed part of my post.
It's always going to be amusing watching you folks pretend I'm just fricking winging it, like I didn't already know I was correct.

I’ll start another thread on historical laws that conservatives pushed that were harmful to minorities and we can converse there….I’d love to hear your thoughts
Slavery and Jim Crow were compliments of Democrats.
Stop listening to the Liberal media.

There's something deeply ironic in you posting a Michael Scott gif.

Why would a license be required for a firearms registry?

That's another Democrat talking point!

No, it was irrelevant hand-waving.
You're trying to push a round peg into a square hole by suggesting our right to vote is in similar danger by voter ID as our right to own a firearm is by firearm ID.

It obliterates your argument.

The comparison is apt, regardless of how you deal with that. It's demonstrably hypocritical to support one and not the other.

Ok, sure it's an amazing comparison.
There you go again, conflating two separate policies.
I thought we were past that...

My concern is that licensure ---> no guns.
The same cannot be said for licensure ---> no voting.
I'm sorry, but I cannot make it any simpler. If I could chew it up and spit into your mouth I would, but it doesn't work like that.

Sure it can. You just think one could happen but, for whatever reason, the other cannot.

I'd settle for something cogent. It's not that your point is a difficult one. It's that it isn't reasonable.
