They retracted the shot mandate, but they still think that they have to comply with the OSHA rule.

So weekly testing will be provided free of charge on the job.

rapid test.

Lowe’s down here in lower Alabama has some sort of temp service filling in because they can’t get enough Lowe’s employees to work.

Not surprising they are dumping the mandate.

My info comes from the Richmond area of Virginia, but it's supposed to be from corporate, should be nation wide.

I don’t like this, but it sure beats mandatory vaccination. That’s an anti-freedom abomination.

Yes, but at least it won't cost the employees anything.

I liked Lowe’s.

That being said, I like going to my local hardware store as much as possible.

Now, I guess I will like going there even more.

frick Lowe’s.

Agreed. But this will be short-lived too probably. They must believe they can’t just flat out disregard the entire OSHA directive all at once. Fingers crossed.

How, if the OSHA rule does in Fact go into effect, they are willing to pY for it. That’s pretty damn good.

Most companies aren’t even giving the option of testing and if so, are making employee pay for it.

So what happens if you test positive, then come back to work after you've recovered? Do you keep testing?

Ahh, holding off on cutting that Lowe's card up a little longer then.

I still owe about 300 on it, two more payments roughly (I always at least double my payment amount). If they completely recant on their previous position by then, I may continue to allow them the privilege of my business.

I only typically spend maybe 2 to 3 grand a year there, but if 100,000 of us stopped spending that much there every year, it would hurt them. A lot.

Your move, Lowe's.
