LOL at the NFL for saying the protests are about issues facing the black community

The single biggest issue facing the black community is the 75% illegitimacy rate. Nothing else comes close.
There is a demonstrable, direct link between this staggeringly high illegitimacy rate and increased rates of poverty, illiteracy and incarceration.
When NFL players start taking a knee for that, I'll be right there with them taking a knee.
Until then, it's all just BS political posturing.

I am on a personal boycott of black people until their fathers start raising their children.

I thought Dante Stallworth said it was about the gender wage gap.

Black people just don't understand how hard it is being white. It's very hard being great all the time.
Wish black people could understand that.

So Kapernick and others have been protesting for over a year, ESPN and other outlets have provided them with a platform to protest, and now they need Goodell to come out and explain it all?
How come?
How come?

NFL Players protesting single motherhood would be like Michael Moore protesting doughnuts.

But when you point this out, YOU ARE A RACIST! It's white privilege to have two parents!
The left thinks its racist to want the black community to have the same 'privilege' as the white community.

And that’s why I think the issue was dying before Trump poured gasoline on it and added some racial, slave/ massa undertones to it (from the perspective of the players).
Before Trump, it was dying out because the free marketplace of ideas had identified it as hollow being that they only wanted to talk about one side of the coin (black folks frequent interactions with police) without talking about the other side of the coin (the broken family structure in the black community).
Trump ought to offer to support dialogue about police brutality if the other side would support dialogue about the family structure in the inner city
Heads would absolutely explode.

Maybe we should start kneeling while holding a sign that says this

It could also say something like, ”how dare you try and understand my personal privledge!”

I think thier intent of protest is not what is relevant here. The reason we stand for an anthem is to honor America, honor troops, etc. Purposefully doing the opposite of standing implies disagreement with those reasons.
If I show up to someone’s funeral dressed as Napoleon Dynamite instead of a dark suit I’m being disrespectful to that person and his family. It doesn’t matter if I didn’t intend to disrespect anyone. Traditions are done for a reason and not doing so will imply disagreement with those reasons

The protests are about a false narrative. That's what makes it so stupid. The biggest issues facing the black community, particularly the inner city black community who are supposedly the victims of this systematic oppression, is their value system and cultural attitudes. Any conversation that doesn't start there is completely pointless.
