Local News Media is completely compromised by globalist commies

3Was at my Mom's house the other day and she had a local 5:00 news broadcast.
Every story was complete left wing propoganda, but was always presented as some legitimate "neutral" news story.
1) Report about how mean Ohio Republicans are and the abortion bill initiative that they are trying to remove the ballot, and a few scary stories about women that couldn't get access to abortion, and interviews from women who
2) A story about how there are still too many white men in construction and initiatives being taken from the local authorities to implement more diversity and women in construction and why it would help the area out
3) A story about how a "white nationalist" was speaking at some random place north of Cincinnati to a few people, with interviews from the local Jewish Center and black civil rights leader on some random dude that would be speaking to a small group
4) A report on the new Covid vaccines and how to get them and how masks may need to return

on 9/20/23 at 1:42 pm to burger bearcatIt's been a longtime problem. Every news station even in the smallest town is owned by conglomerates who send out the same stories and script to every station. It's why they have those videos of dozens of anchors reading the same story word for word.
I bring up how even in podunkass Monroe and NE LA almost every newscast in the fall of 2022 opened up with a story about the Georgia US senate race and a hit piece on Herschel Walker.

“Local news” is owned by various companies which have their fingers in multiple markets and push the same shut everywhere.
WAFB in BR is owned by a company called Gray Television, which merged with Raycom. They have stations in BR, Lafayette, Alex, etc, but also across the country such as in Cleveland, covering 180 stations in 113 markets.

Well the ad model for the local newspapers and tv stations was broken leaving most of them on the brink of bankruptcy.
Enter large conglomerates with possible ties to the IC who are willing to underwrite losses (cough Twitter cough) to push messaging and you get what we have currently.
When Obama removed the restrictions on the IC pushing propaganda domestically all bets were off.

However, as the traditional business model of these industries was interrupted by the internet in the 2000’s, that law was repealed. This led to a rapid consolidation of media. Now, 90% of terrestrial radio stations are owned by two companies, 80% of local newspapers are owned by 3 companies, and most local tv stations are owned by 4 companies (rather than just broadcasting syndicated programming from the big networks).
Literally 95% of all traditional media reports the exact same stories from the same sources and points of view in lockstep daily.

Those were the days.
Now you have some communities where all the radio stations are owned by a single company.
Then on the TV front, the Lake Charles situation is beyond crazy. You have one station owner Gray controlling 3 major networks (NBC/Fox/ABC and a minor one CW through a LMA) and the 4th major network CBS is on a low power station with a different owner. That must be a fun one to pickup. Luckily on cable some systems near Lake Chuck will still carry Lafayette and even the Beaumont stations too. Satellite may get you only those 4 Lake Chuck outlets.

hetfield , fox 4 may be the least propaganda in dfw. 5,8, and 11 are unwatchable. low IQ anchors speaking democratic tslking points. what gets me is these low IQ slaps telling me how to live my life. i guess they speak to a lot of stupid people.
