Local governments are passing the collections shortfalls on to homeowners.

Yep, your property taxes are rising to pay your fair share of the Covid-19 bill. Our raise was put forth and discussed in the local rag and I thought it was a kick in the butt but Nashville is getting 34%...yep that is a 3 and a 4! Not only is your home value falling but congrats it'll cost you more for less.

They want to raise property taxes to make up for lost revenue, because they shut down the economy. frick dem!

The local assessors in Louisiana are doing reassessments this year and you better watch to see if your value went up!
It means MORE TAXES!!

Except for it being artificially inflated. I dont want to pay taxes on some aubirtary increase in value which the market does not reflect.
