I mean why is anyone freaking out over these comments? The attendance and ratings statistics prove this was a smart calculated time to make such a bold statement. And for goodness sake someone needed to finally say it...might as well be daddy.

The everyday American doesn't give a shite what an NFL player or Hollywood numbnuts says or thinks. That much is clear. Let the loonies in NYC, Chicago, California and media melt away.

And yes this needed its own thread.

Hopefully players kneel tomorrow. The NFL needs to decline even more. Maybe we'll see a reformation.

The NFL peaked several years ago. They are on the downward slope now. If not for fantasy football they wouldn't be nearly as big as they are now.

What do you want changed?

Lost in all the furor is that Trump thinks the main problem is that the refs are tossing too many flags and not letting more hitting go on, not the anthem deal.

The NFL would benefit from a break and some scabs. The players have gotten too high of an opinion of themselves.

The average person doesn’t really care about them.

You geniuses are just like Don. Bash anyone who disagrees with your POV, because you have neither the capacity nor the guts to consider that you just might be wrong.

Silly cucks. You're on the wrong side of history.

If nothing else, it shows the devotion of his cult.

Look at this board. He randomly brings up the kneeling, an issue that was all but dead and forgotten, and everybody here is instantly at maximum rage all over again.

Actually, it's far from dead. The reverse is true. Players are upping their ways of protesting, including flashing Black Power signs.

I'm not a fan of pro sports because I think it's despicable that grown-ups get paid outrageous sums of money for playing a fricking game. Also, the teams' owners demand and get public money for new stadiums. Public money that could be paid to our police forces for better personnel. frick 'em all. I'm glad Kentucky doesn't have pros.
