Prove me wrong.

It could not occur at any other time, obviously.

It depends if you make her scream or not

Life begins at conception. Prove me wrong.
Lots of things are "alive." We kill them all the time.

Humans? Because I think the issue is humans here, Hank.

Do you know believ3 in plants?

I mean I agree with you but there are a lot of different people who have different moral codes

Life does begin at conception. That's when development of a new and unique life starts and naturally progresses.

Life begins in the sack, prove me wrong

Why is a "human life" entitled to protection, whereas other "life" is not?
The question of "when" that protection should vest is a related (but distinct) issue.

And that is the debate. A moral society does not murder its most helpless. What sort of society you want to live in is the debate. And do we want to live in a society ruled by those with so little regard for human life?

The murder of anyone else.

I'm sure you think this is some rhetorical gotcha, but really it's just silliness masquerading as some sort of high brow question.
Either way, not today...

quote:Not at all. I am exploring the question of WHY you consider it wrong to take this particular life. I think we must answer this question in ORDER to address the propriety (or impropriety) of abortion.
So, your defense is not of abortion, but the legalization of murder-for-all?

When will you start protesting to shut down IVF clinics for throwing away embryos?

Prove yourself right
Simple logic. Life can't develop without the union of the sperm and egg. So you know life can't begin before conception. But after that, there is no scientific way to say exactly when life beings, at conception, at the first heartbeat, when the fetus is viable outside the womb, or only at full development and birth.
With logical reasoning, you must assume it is at conception since you can't be sure otherwise and that is the surest way to ensure you are protecting life.
How can you argue it isn't a life when you have no way to prove it isn't?
