Kabul, Afghanistan:

Tehran, Iran 1970s vs today:

Sure.... They just want to be your friend and don’t want to kill you because you do not follow the Koran.

The Iranians of the north like Tehran are not the same as the Iranians of the central and Southwest part of the country....as a whole....northern Iran is lush and green and they look different.

I have a friend who came over here as the Revolution started heating up in 1977 -78 . Iranians (Persians) are complicated people. But the women are hot.

My wife and I have two friends from Iran. Old enough to have been around during the revolutionary days. One thing people need to know is that there is a pretty big disconnect between the theocratic leadership of Iran and many of the people.

Our friends look and live like westerners, drink alcohol, etc. And although they still have familial ties in Iran and travel there, they loathe many aspects of what it's become. There are lots of similar stories of Iranian people like them.

It's not as simple as "Iranians hate the U.S."

They Iranian leadership might, but not necessarily the people (although some of them certainly do).

There are definitely some lookers in the bunch, but in general, they are a bit "swarthy" for me.

Islam or Socialism are the two most surefire ways to destroy any functional civilization.

It had to be around 1975-76 a guy from Afghanistan was working in a store on Perkins and Acadian . He was around 18 yo . Really nice guy , we all got along well . Out of no where he tells us he’s moving back home and basically looked at us with hate .
I’ve never seen anyone go from one extreme to another like that . He’s was definitely a militant.

Dated one who came from an Iranian Jewish family.Nice people weird as it applies to us....daughter was pretty hot- away from her parents . She had a body that was impressive and she liked to show it off.

Dad was a very nice guy he taught me a lot about Iran and how things worked there.

Wonder what the AFTER photos will look like of the US after the Environmental Revolution occurs here. Pretty similar probably.

I’ve seen images like these before but I’m lost on the history.

Is it that Islam has different sectors of ideas? Or were those in Iran before the revolution not Islamic?

Beirut use to be known as the Paris of the Middle East.

quote:

Beirut experienced a renaissance of sorts in the mid-20th century. Following World War II, the Lebanese capital became a tourist destination and financial capital, nicknamed "the Paris of the Middle East" thanks to its French influences and vibrant cultural and intellectual life.

The after pics are a liberals dream scenario. They think they will be exempt from it and be able to live in luxury like the globalist elite who are pushing all the bullshite. What a nasty surprise they would be in for.

It's similar to all those libs who thought that Obamacare was going to be free for them and that only conservatives would have to pay for it. A lot of them really thought that.

Smh. Iran has a lot of gorgeous women.. and they've been oppressed for a long time. Their spirits have been broken.

And liberals think that shite is fine.

Iran once had a very large Jewish population and now they don’t have any left as the Islamic militants either killed them or forced them to flee the country overnight.

Leftists will ruin someone’s life over one twitter post. Yet defend the Iranian regime and welcome radical Muslims that treat women and gheys like dirt.

It’s incredible to watch.

The radical, militant Islamists took over in the mid-late 70s. It’s always been majority Muslim.

I'm no historian, but from what I understand, Pre-revolution Iran was also Islamic, but was pro-Western and very secular.

I had a helluva time 76-78 at Tehran American School. People and food were great. The pictures in this thread are accurate in depicting life before the Revolution.
