But the President doesn't control gas prices. It's the greedy oil companies! - Angry NPCs.

This price will go up even more as we replace the strategic reserve at a price that is more than double what we paid to create it in the 1st place

Its the same in states where it was never this high ever
Its a total wipe out
I saw Diesel for over 6 bucks in five states from Ohio to South Carolina a couple days ago.
Good luck in those House races.

Oh and didn't matter it was above $5 in CA and a few other states.

I'm slightly confused on how Joe Biden is responsible.
I'm not sure I'd agree with this.
The economic literature on this suggests oil is a global commodity. The US is a large oil producer but supply has increased significantly since pandemic lows. US oil production hasn't decreased enough to significantly affect global supply.
Oil prices are up significantly across the globe. I don't think Biden is that responsible for oil prices increasing - it seems to be much more of a global problem.
US Energy data
Looking at US oil production versus worldwide oil production, the decline in oil production seems to be from OPEC countries, not the US.
I can't understand why Biden would be responsible for OPEC production declining. In short, the decline seems to have come from OPEC countries and this decline has not yet been 'recovered'.
As a result, demand has surged while production has declined. This has resulted in oil prices rising - to blame Biden would not be a fully comprehensive analysis.
So I'm incredibly confused at how Biden is responsible. I'm currently not in the US and oil prices have risen here significantly. That's not because of Biden either but OPEC prices (in the country I'm in, we get oil from OPEC, not the US).
I don't work in commodity trading but the situation is way, way more complex than this board thinks. Demand has increased while supply has declined particularly in OPEC countries and they've not recovered.
In fact, US oil production has recovered much more quickly than the rest of the world from what I can see.
Oil prices are much higher here where I currently am and I think it's sheer arrogance to think that Biden is responsible for global oil prices rising.

Biden set the stage for high gas prices his first day in office - his anti drilling agenda set all of this in motion - his failure to keep Russia from attacking is another reason gas is high.
It honestly doesn’t matter because if it happens during his term he’s responsible- that’s how it works

Still under $4.00 at Sam's Madison. 87 is $3.89 but be prepared to wait in line as the pumps are very slow and have been for some time.

Biden pissed off OPEC countries when he started playing tootsie foots with Iran. They wouldn’t even take his calls asking them to increase production to ease the crude commodity price. Coupled with his other actions we are here. Biden sucks sweaty balls. His administration owns this shite show.

Gate’s soda machines suck. They always taste off. I hope they go out of business.
