At 34 years old, she's likely seen her last World Cup. She has a chance next year to help the U.S. Women do what no WC Champion has ever done...win the gold the year after the World Cup.
If she does play on 2023, at 38, she will have significantly reduced minutes and won't start.

Sentrius I agree with you. I wanted to cheer for the USWNT in this tournament but every time I would see Rapinoe on TV my blood would just boil.
The USWNT might have won but they took all the joy out of the World Cup. There was no reason for politics but Rapinoe injected politics into it and for that I will always despise her.
I didn't want to cheer against the USWNT but I just couldn't support Rapinoe in any way and cheering for the USWNT would've been supporting Rapinoe.

That’s the problem. To Rapinoe, winning the WC meant that Rapinoe won it and she doesn’t give a shite about the national team significance. Why she thinks anyone gives a shite that she is lesbian is beyond me. You aren’t discriminated against, you just miss the victim hood feeling and will push your shite on people to the point that they push back and you can wrap your arms around “oppression” again.

Exactly, like Kaepernick she'll do anything to feel "oppressed", to play the victim card, even though lesbians aren't oppressed or victims in any way in modern society. 30, 40, 50 years ago, yes, but not today.
It shows that there is something mentally wrong with them. They have to feel oppressed because they want to feel "special". They can't stand the idea of just being a regular American. They have a deep desire to have to stand out.
Like you the USWNT winning the WC meant Rapinoe won the WC and we all know Rapinoe will take over the celebrations. It'll be all about her and her teammates will just be in the background which is wrong. That's why I just couldn't in good faith cheer for the USWNT. Once Rapinoe is off the team maybe I can cheer for the team again.
