Let me get this straight ... the FBI tracked down (police car) arsonist by an Etsy review

ArsTechnica article on how the FBI so impressively tracked down a suspected arsonist
From the article
Awesome job to the Field Agents involved. Really impressive.
Then we have Peter Strzok and Lisa Page and their Merry Band of Misfits who seem like if they can't manufacture evidence, they wouldn't be able to find their way out of a paper bag. To be fair, Strzok and Page aren't the only ones (remember the mass shooter who was referred to the FBI).
Again, nice work by the FBI.
(thanks for mentioning patriotgrunt. I would like to forget the rules on this one... lol)
definitely would not.
From the article
quote:
"The alleged arsonist—identified by the FBI as Lore-Elisabeth Blumenthal, 33—was wearing a mask, goggles, fire-resistant gloves, and a T-shirt with the slogan "Keep the immigrants, deport the racists" when her crime was captured live ..."
"Blumenthal, who is charged with two counts of knowingly causing malicious destruction, is in federal custody. The federal charges were lodged because the Philly police receive funding from the US government," PennLive reported.
"If convicted, the defendant faces a maximum possible sentence of eighty years in prison, followed by three years of supervised release, and a fine of up to $500,000," a press release from the Department of Justice and US Attorney's office said

A search for "Lore Elisabeth" in Philadelphia turned up "a LinkedIn profile for an individual matching the name 'Lore Elisabeth' who appears to be employed as a massage therapist with a company that provides massage therapy services."
You know what that means...

The fbi probably used techniques to ID her that they don’t want disclosed, so they provided this as an explanation for how she was found.

That makes sense because the method disclosed is pretty damn basic.

I think a lighter sentence is in order. Let's just forget the 3 years of supervised release and call it a day.

Well the tattoos down her right arm definitely make the job of identifying her easier

Yes these leftist losers must brag on social media to feed the cause. Love how the tattoos are helping id these worthless idiots.

Meh, whatever. I’ve tracked down and stalked old high school girlfriends for the last 10 years on line starting with one their grandfather’s WW2 enlistment papers found on Ancestry.com.
Take that restraining order from 2003 and shove it.

Good Lord, she either needs to wear a bra or get a better fitting one.... she’s 33 and her tits are almost at her waist....
Posted on 6/21/20 at 7:32 pm to captainFid
She can put her titties in her front pocket.

Could you imagine how it would feel to be that chick. Fighting against the “man” , torch a police car, Then get arrested on fed charges with possibly the worst picture you could have of yourself plastered ALL OVER the internet. To top it all off have every conservative website have a side by side of you being a fairly hot 8/10 with a picture of you with your tits halfway down your torso resting on your pot belly.

Like what? They couldn't get facial recognition because of her mask and I highly doubt they had luck with fingerprints.
Their only 2 options were either an informant or to identify her off tattoos and distinctive clothing.

Cell phone tracking is one option

Before the ETSY review?
How were they gonna do that if they didn't
know who she was?

Do you really think that the FBI is gonna give up their technology? Germany thought their planes were getting shot down because the British said their soldiers had great eyesight from eating carrots. The British had radar.
