In the meantime, rich transplants continue to pay $500/sq ft + for Uptown houses that sell within days at record high prices. It is about being part of the "culture".

You mean to tell me taking down the confederate statues hasn't solved any of their problems?

What about that 7 million dollar BLM afro pick statue?

I can't imagine living in that hellscape, but at least they have a $7 million hair pick.

I love Lawrence Jones but this was just basically an interview with two people who are most likely Biden, JBE, & Teedy voters. It is the citizens who have to stand up to this leftist nonsense that is destroying the city.

My God, it's like I just read what's been in my head the last five years. Well said.

I mean it did stop a lot of honky's from coming around to visit the statues....you know to get their white supremacist marching orders to suppress blacks. That's a positive right?!

This was all really well said in a very straightforward and pragmatic way, but half the country would read it and call you a racist.

That’s the problem. We judge the validity of one’s words based off of a few immutable characteristics: skin color, gender, and orientation.

The overwhelming message is always lost: black America has an existential problem and it has nothing to do with white America. Instead of addressing the real issues that face black Americans, the discourse is always hijacked and race is used as a wedge to divide.

But oh well. I’ve stopped caring because like others have said, they’ve stopped caring. The only recourse we have is to insulate ourselves from it as best we can.

Well said man.

Perfectly stated for many of us that were told we had to suck it up, when we couldn't do things in the name of "diversity" via Affirmative Action by white guilt cucks. Now we are being told it was for nothing as things are "worse than ever". F'em...tired of falsely propping them up. If they can't on their own then get out of the way.

We definitely need to get politicians in place that will have the nuts to start forcing blacks to get off the govt teet on their own. Doubt it will happen but we need to cut anchor on what is holding us down, black race baiters and white guilt cucks.

New Orleans is the closest thing to Haiti that we have.

Had. Not long after putting that monstrosity up, she had it taken down because it was such a fricking embarrassment.

She didn't even try breaking/melting it down to fill potholes. It's likely sitting in a storage yard somewhere.

I think that this statue actually caused a spike in crime after it was in place.
