I'm going to play advocate's devil here: Lauren Boebert won.

There won't be any manufactured ballots or "brrrrrrrr"; that's just silly.

Today was the last day to cure any information on mail in, and also the last day for military overseas ballots to arrive. They'll wrap Colorado up tomorrow.

Is Boebert not allowed to have her own "cured" ballots?

Curing ballots is horseshite. I frick up voting on Election Day, sucks to be me. A lazy frick that LITERALLY mails it in should suffer the same fate.

This. If you can’t follow simple instructions and fill in the correct bubble then you shouldn’t be voting anyways

How many ballots are outstanding based on registered voters, and how does it compare to her lead?

From 9news.com:

quote:

A week after the election, the race is on to get every vote counted in the district, which includes parts of western and southern Colorado. Some voters are getting nonstop calls.

"They feel like they are being ostracized or put out because their signature didn't match and now they are being harassed to get their signature cured," Ortiz said.

As of Friday, 369 voters in Pueblo County could still fix – or cure – their ballots.

"As soon as they call them they are asking them, 'How did you vote? Did you vote for Boebert or Frisch?'" Ortiz said. "If it is not the candidate they want, they hang up with them."

Republican candidate Lauren Boebert and Democratic candidate Adam Frisch are separated by 1,122 votes as of Friday. Voters have until the end of the business day Wednesday to cure their ballots.

"A person showed up at someone's house twice in two days knocking on their door asking if they could get their ballot cured," Ortiz said. "We want your ballot to count. We want every vote on that ballot to count and we want you to be able to do that without being harassed."

Boebert is ahead by 1,122 votes and there are only 369 voters in Pueblo County. How many others are left in the district?

ETA: From a related page:

quote:

As of Friday night, the race for Colorado's 3rd Congressional District is separated by 1,122 votes. Republican Rep. Lauren Boebert leads by just enough so far to avoid an automatic recount against Democratic challenger Adam Frisch.

The two largest counties in that district -- Mesa and Pueblo -- have a combined 1,166 ballots that have yet to be counted because of a mistake made by the voter.

A mistake those voters can still fix, or "cure" by the end of Wednesday.

What a joke.

ETA 2:

It just gets worse:

quote:

There is one more stat to share.

The 3rd Congressional District includes 27 counties. In all those counties combined, there are more than 6,200 undervotes in the race between Boebert and Frisch. That means a voter did not choose either candidate. Though, it turns out an undervote does not necessarily mean the bubble was left blank.

"A voter may have marked outside of that oval, so they might have circled the name or underlined the name," McReynolds said.

In a recount, either automatic or paid for by the losing candidate, those undervotes can also be scrutinized again by election judges to see if the race was truly left blank or if there is a mark that indicates voter intent.

The filth doesn't call elections for Republicans. Every Dem that leads, gets called.

Every Republican that leads stays open until the filth finds enough votes.

jena griswald and the dems in the shithole of colorado won't call it until the recount gives them the result they want and then anyone who questions THEIR result will be ridiculed as an election denier

That’s a crock of bullshite, you don’t fill in circles then circle or underline a name

Unless you’re a Dim, in which case you should have your voting rights removed for being a dumbass

The curing process appears to be going well for the Dems. Apparently they’re the only ones who can fill out ballots incorrectly. Boebert’s lead dropped steadily with each hour this afternoon and is down to a 600 vote lead. She will probably be down by 8pm.

New: we're headed to an automatic recount in #CO03, where Adam Frisch (D) more than halved Rep. Lauren Boebert's (R) lead from 1,122 votes to 557 votes.

Still, extremely rare for a lead of that size to be overturned in a recount.

There's been no chance Boebert could lose for about 6 days now.

They’ll get some more ballots in there.

We’re going on 10 days now.
