I very rarely venture into WM, but they’re the only place to buy crickets in my little town and my 4yo wanted to go bream fishing...so off to Walmart I went.

While waiting in line at the sporting goods counter, I struck up a conversation with a 55ish black lady who was buying a boat cover. She seemed nice enough and was well-dressed, but was obviously annoyed by the longish line.

The line was 4 people deep (she was 2 and I was 3) and there was a couple at the side counter wanting to see something locked in the case.

The young cashier girl checked out #1, answered the black lady’s questions and directed her to the section where her item could be found, got the item from the case for the couple, walked me back for crickets, and rang up #4 behind me in line.

That the cashier didn’t immediately check her out upon returning really upset the black lady and she started making comments to others in the line. She then asked to speak to a manager and badically accused the cashier of waiting on the white people first. I chimed in with my opinion that the cashier had handled everyone exactly in the order she should have and was told “I appreciate your point of view, but I don’t see it that way.”

As I was walking out, the lady was talking to the manager.

I’ve thought about calling Walmart to set the record straight, but I can’t imagine they even care.

So everyone was supposed to wait for the black lady to come back to the counter after getting her item? She’s wrong, skin color has nothing to do with it.

This is the exact attitude of Republicans everywhere. It’s kind of an issue.

Victimhood is just like depression, in once you feel it deep down it becomes the cause and effect of every little thing that happens to you (in your mind).

Willing to bet that people are "racist" towards her just about everywhere she goes. She's one of the many that try to find it everywhere, especially when it doesn't exist and something doesn't go her way.

Why does a straw person need a boat cover?

Not sure, but this lady’s husband didn’t like his Bass Tracker getting rained in.

When something Does not go the way a person feels it should go and the offender is the same race as the offended we tend to think the offender is a jerk.

When the offender is a different race we tend to think the offender is racist.

Some do think that way.

I believe whole heartedly that people are asshats before I believe they are racist....unless it comes with a string of slurs.

When we leave the line, the line shouldn't have to wait for us to return.

It allows others to move along and not have animosity towards us.

It's common sense and courtesy.

The lady should have gone, gotten her product and took her place at the end of the line.

There is no racial bias in this case.

The woman is a butthole.

Has anyone ever met a black woman without an attitude? I haven’t. They always seem mad to me. Mad meaning angry more than crazy.

This is one of the main reasons I hated being a manager every time I was management. It takes a while for the staff to understand "yes ma'am/sir. I'll speak to my people about this rest assured" = "Don't worry about it, you're doing a good job, it's just some people are idiots and your day just got ruined by one of the many. Walk it off and back to the grind!"

I've met plenty of very good black women.

But one attitude doesn't spoil the whole bunch.

I've seen plenty of white women who were straight out bitches.

But that doesn't speak for all white women.

As said by someone earlier, assholes know no color,or gender.
