Trump’s inability to keep his mouth shut and Biden’s awkward rehearsed pandering to the camera & name calling were unacceptable for men who want to lead the free world.

If I was a high school civics teacher, I’m not sure I would want my students to see that debacle.

I’m maga AF - because I can separate personality from policy - but Trump was pretty bad. He really needs to prepare his talking points for the next debates, but I don’t have much hope that he will.

Many times Biden said Trump has no plan, but he followed these instances up by not giving any plans of his own.
Biden also had the obvious earpiece and was clearly taking notes from it.

I would love to say Americans deserve better, but I’m really not sure.

It was an embarrassment for Biden.

Trump was Trump. If he acted like Jeb or Romney, I'd puke.

He won't prepare for these things. He's not a serious person.

You will get downvoted but you are 100% correct.

Biden looked worse to me, but Trump missed so many opportunities to hammer home issues, slam Joes record and to put Joe on the run while highlighting the differences.

Either Trump didn't take coaching or his plan was to show that he was not a weak old man like joe.

Terrible look for both and for Wallace, nothing but a old folks home geriatric fight. fricking embarrassing.

Thank God we have the internet arbiter of truth to keep us on the straight and narrow.

Maybe, just maybe, if the fricking thing was set up to treat the candidates equally Trump would not have put on the full court press.

We will never know because it never is. That the setup will favor the democrat is an obvious fact known by everyone beforehand.

He should have been more like Romeny!

Again, let's say he was "properly prepared" and on point to discuss policy last night. Do you think Chris Wallace would have allowed that? As long as there is a major news media "moderator", these debates will be engineered as an attack/gotcha session on Trump. He will not be allowed to make coherent points without interruption. He will not be allowed to respond to attacks from Biden. His only ally in this is his ability to overpower the narrative. Trump being Trump is far preferable to Chris Wallace making Joe Biden look even semi-competent or coherent.

Looks like I chose wisely.

The “Simps for Trump” will be in here soon to tell you how it was the greatest debate performance in history.

I agree..it was en embarrassment. This country needs Trump right now to have a chance of continuing to be the country our founders imagined, so I'm voting for him without hesitation, but it was a shite show.

Good news is Trump didn't lose (or gain) many votes...while Biden has a good chance of losing votes based on distancing himself from ideas much of his die believes in.

They both sucked, Wallace sucked- it was a suck fest.

Good news/bad news is I doubt many who hadn’t made up their mind were swayed by that Jerry Springer style debate.

Trump interrupted too much. He did fine for a debate otherwise.

That's because no one else was there to challenge Joe's responses. Cuck Wallace certainly wasn't doing it
