I could have sworn I read months and months ago that Russia was running out of missiles that they wouldn't be able to replenish? Surely the media and our "intelligence" agencies weren't lying to us again, right?

When it comes to artillery and the Ukraine war is primarily an artillery war, Russia clearly started with immense artillery ammo stocks and has been using artillery at an immense rate, far greater than Ukraine. Ukraine and the west has hit a wall in terms of artillery stocks. At the same time, Russia production does not match their usage. At some point, Russia will also have artillery ammo stock problems. I believe that is the reason we are seeing reports of Russia going to both Iran and China for ammunition. Iran assistance will undoubtedly be limited but I suspect the manufacturing giant China will be able to provide everything Russia needs once ramped up. And I think they will provide the ammo.
